And then it turns out that almost all the deaths are over 70,
For example, of the 225,000 dead, only 100 are children.
Those over 70 have over 40 times the death rate of average people.

Not only are 90% of those infected turning out to be asymptomatic, but those over the age of 70 are 40 times more likely to die than the average, and children are about 40% less likely to die than the average.
So clearly we should be quarantining only the elderly.

To say these numbers are being inflated for the purpose of keeping the hysteria machine humming is the understatement of the century.

The term for testing positive for Covid exposure is being changed from "cases" to "infections" in order to keep people in a state of fear over a virus that is less deadly than seasonal flu (whose mortality rates have been suppressed by widespread vaccinations).

Also, there is nothing magic about turning 70 and suddenly becoming "high risk" to Covid-19. Much more specific data on who and how people died is being withheld in order to maintain this state of fear and avoid singling out certain population subgroups.
