Countdown to D-Day

Did anybody watch this last night on the History Channel? I did and I thought it was pretty good. Selleck doesn't look much like Ike, but I thought he played the part very well.

What I like most about the movie was being reminded of how much character our leaders had back then.

I watched it the first time it was on and enjoyed it. I especially liked the part where Ike, Montgomery, and the other military heads outline the invasion plan for the King and Queen and other assorted ministers responsible and VIPs.

Very moving speech.

Yes it was and so germain to the events of that time and this as well.
