First of all, when some loon like this calls for this sort of thing in the Christian world, they get no takers.
On the other hand, when Islamists call for the same sort of thing, there's always plenty of followers that step up to the plate and carry the deed out.

But here's the deal. America has always been a HEAVILY dominated Christian nation, and has always had an insignificant # of other religions. What this means is we have always tended to give Christians, even extreme ones, much more slack than other religions.
That's just the way it is, and it will be a long time until other religions are given the same amount of latitude.

You may not like it, but you happen to have been born in a country that has historically been more open to and friendlier to the Christian religion and it's followers than to atheists and members of other religions.
