This has significant implications, obviously. Eventually, a group with such a low birth rate dies out if the children have the same characteristics as the parents.

One has to wonder if the combination of Liberal policies contributes to such a low rate. Liberals have more abortions, are more likely to be gay, less likely to be in traditional family relationships, and more likely to believe that humans are causing irreparable harm to the planet.

I feel the premise Daily Mail presents in the OP has a major flaw.

I do not believe that birthrate factor alone is indication of any future trend. As seen in election result maps, urban areas are more liberal than rural areas. And the rate of urbanization has grown, and continues to grow, significantly.

As proof I point towards history. We see the result in that conservates today are a far cry from what they used to be as the political center has migrated further and further left.
