Concerns mount that US withdrawal from Afghanistan could risk progress on women's rights

This is saying we want to keep dropping bombs on brown people in Afghanistan until women have equal rights.....which is never.

Fuck anyone who wants to keep US troops in Afghanistan and keep bombing brown people....you are sick fuckers.

Maybe we should bomb China until they close the concentration camps.

. . . if anyone on the left needed anymore evidence that CNN is as bad or worse than Infowars? :dunno:

You must own a lot of defense stock. You want to stop bombing in Afghanistan which winding down, but start bombing China? You ain't too bright. I don't care if we pull out of the middle east and southwest Asia, starting the draw down tomorrow, leaving it to Israel but selling them anything they want and taking a hands off role. Only an idiot wants to start world war III. I don't like communists, but it's their damn country, same as I am not willing to support women's rights in Afghanistan with bullets, bombs and perfectly good soldiers. Of course, that is an Independents view, not tied to politics, Geo-Economics or national defense contractors.

There is no solution to the Taliban. They want to live in the 9th century and are willing to die for their stupid backward beliefs.

There are 3 reasons we are still in Afghanistan.

1) Poppies
2) Military Industrial Complex
3) A military presence in the region.

You forgot the Lithium. The "new normal," and the technocracy agenda with the remaking of the national infrastructure for big tech and the green Agenda, requires Lithium like the old paradigm required oil.

If that Socialist in Bolivia doesn't cooperate, I would expect another coup again.

Lithium wars, and rare Earth Mineral wars will be this centuries oil wars.

The U.S. Isn’t Leaving Afghanistan Anytime Soon

STAYING POWER
It just signed on to help unlock Afghanistan’s mineral wealth.

". . . The U.S. Geological Survey—a scientific agency in the administration—signed a letter of intent with the Afghan government to help the country unlock what estimates say is nearly $1 trillion in natural resource wealth, according to Afghan officials and two other consultants working with the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum. The two parties signed the paperwork earlier this year.

The U.S. agency has long partnered with Kabul on mining development. By one report, the U.S. has spent hundreds of millions of dollars propping up the mining sector since 2009.

This time, though, USGS is working with the Afghan government to not only help with surveying the mining fields, but also to find ways to sell mining products on the international market. In other words, the U.S. will have a front-seat view as the Afghan government plans the development of its extractive sector. (The Afghan government also works closely with the Russian and Chinese governments on mining.). . . "

But genocide in China is ok. :auiqs.jpg:

Good Lord....leftists are so full of shit. You morons are puppets of the military industrial complex. When did you fools become war mongers?

Oh, yes, when the West leaves that country, women -- among others -- will no doubt lose many of their current rights.

But Americans cannot remain indefinitely in a country to ensure human rights.

We are going on 20 fucking years. This has become a fucking punch line.

WE NEED TO GET THE FUCK OUT OF AFGHANISTAN.
Wasn't there "the hundred years war"? After awhile the war becomes an institution. Generations of family members can fight in it.

Does anyone know why the Taliban is not on the U.S list of foreign terror groups??

They never did anything to us. We should be on their list.
Ya, If I remember right, when 911 happened, they asked for the proof that OBL did it, and they would gladly hand him over, because that type of behavior is forbidden in their religion, even under such theocratic philosophy as jihad. Innocents, women and children? Off limits. . . from what I gather.

The state department ignored their request.
