An armed suburban man with a concealed-carry license intervened in a 3-on-1 beating and robbery in River North yesterday evening, according to a witness and police.

-Back down ALL costs, prices, fees, to January 1, 2009 levels and hold them for 10 years which will eliminate inflation.

And while the mandatory buyback program did appear to reduce the rate of accidental firearm deaths, Baker and McPhedran found that “the gun buy-back and restrictive legislative changes had no influence on firearm homicide in Australia.”

That was the lowest homicide incident rate at the time in 25 years, as we mentioned earlier.

The number of firearm-related homicides also has dropped substantially since the 1996 gun law was enacted.

Lots of unnecessary vulgar language and diversions about lawn mowers, but no constructive ideas about how to bridge the gap between the firearms extremists and the majority of the nation.
No one has suggested armed men enter schools. What has been suggested, very modestly, is that an organized militia patrolling in appropriate manner in appropriate areas might very well impede wanton violence. But, these 'gunners' prefer the safety of attacking on the Internet anyone who utters a word not out of their playbook.
Thus, contempt for them continues to mount.

It is so easy to criticize young people who demonstrate, but at least they have the gumption to actually exercise a right to express themselves constructively. Couch potato patriots fail to demonstrate the slightest constructiveness. Merely chanting a recital of an amendment and brandishing their love of arms accomplishes nothing but excite their own numbers. Where is their reaching out to the community to show compassion? What do they do to justify their attachment to firearms in defense of liberty? Go patrol without guns in school areas, if necessary, to show they are willing to protect with their bodies what they claim to love with their words.

We need reaching out to the community all right. We need bands of vigilantes, armed vigilantes willing to shoot to kill.

These groups of teens don't need guns. They swarm their victims and beat them to death for sport. For fun.
