No. They charged him with lying about a leak that Andrew McCabe authorized to the Washington post on Hillary Clinton. They claim Comey lied, by saying he did NOT authorize McCabe to make this leak. Comey was told by McCabe, what McCabe did, AFTER McCabe had already done it, and NOT before...thus, not guilty.

Comey was investigated for this accusation of leaking by the Inspector General years ago, and was cleared by the IG, he did NOT authorize that leak before McCabe did it.

This case will be dismissed ahead of trial, if about the above...before it begins.

So if that, Comey may go the Selective Prosecution defense...?

I don't trust anyone in D.C.

But I do know that the Steele Dossier is B.S. that was conjured into existence at the behest of Hillary Clinton.

It was then used as the primary predicate at the FISA court to get warrants to surveil Trump and his associates.

Russiagate follows from there.

Everyone knew it was false, but they needed it to get the warrants, so they pushed ahead.

They're all corrupt as the day is long. As i said in another post, Comey is lucky he's not being charged with sedition and treason.

There have been, IG reviews, Doj with special prosecutor John Durham hired by William Barr, and the Mueller investigation and it didn't show Clinton was aware that the dossier was not true, until later....or at least our law enforcement hadn't been able to prove that she knew or prove that Steele ordered it to be created. That's why Trump hasn't sued all of them for defamation and won!
