Columbian "Actress" Living in LA Gets Arrested

Yes and obstructing law enforcement activity is illegal as well.
Reporting on what the government is doing IS NOT obstruction, it is exercising the First Amendment.

Not when the clear intent is to disrupt the activities of governmental personnel in the course of their duties.
That is really messed up dude. I can't believe you support throwing the Constitution in the trash.

If the administration actually were locking folks up for just reporting on what the government is doing, the next lefty administration will lock these folks up for also telling folks what is going on as well. . . under the excuse of "obstruction/disruption"

Though Alex and Luke do far less on the ground reporting than they used to.

That’s not throwing the constitution in the trash. When he was president, George Washington led the Army to suppress the Whiskey Rebellion when farmers interfered with governmental tax collectors from collecting taxes on their whiskey.

Fighting a rebellion is a far cry from doing legal journalism protected by the First Amendment.

What she’s is doing is not legal journalism.
Just the fact that you have to qualify her journalism as "not legal," shows me, that you are aware it is protected speech.

The only, "illegal journalism," is leaking information illegally obtained. She is clearly obtaining all her information legally, just by observing what is going on.

That is legal.

I can't believe how obtuse you are being.

Go on then, if you really believe your bullshit, find the law that defines, "illegal journalism."

You’re the one who claimed her journalism was legal.

Wrong. Illegal aliens shouldn’t have any rights at all except to not be physically abused while awaiting deportation. No access to the courts, no access to any medical care except for minimal stabilization for life threatening injuries, no access to any public services. Let their home countries pay for their medical care when they get home,

Um, no, guy, everyone has a right to due process.

You guys have yet to show me this woman was living here illegally.

Even if she is a citizen, doxxing federal agents to disrupt operations is a crime

You mean the Federal Agents who wear masks to hide their identity?

Who kick in doors in the middle of the night?

Who fire at vehicles because the people inside are too brown?

"DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Newsweek that Martinez was arrested because of a prior DUI conviction in Los Angeles. . . "

<snip>

". . . Tricia McLaughlin told Newsweek: "On August 15, ICE arrested Leidy Tatiana Mafla-Martinez, a criminal illegal alien from Colombia who was convicted for driving under the influence in Los Angeles. This criminal illegal alien entered the country in 2022 and was RELEASED by the Biden administration. During her arrest, Martinez claimed to experience shortness of breath. She was given proper medical treatment and will be held in ICE custody pending removal proceedings."

Okay, I don't believe anything DHS says at this point.

If she was released by the Biden Administration, it sounds like she was granted some kind of provisional parole.

What I want to hear is..

When did she enter the country?

How long has she been living here?

Did she have a green card?

Not whatever shit the Puppy-Shooter is putting out to justify yanking a woman out of her home in the middle of the night.

Did he deport them to Canada afterwards, without due process of law?

I think there's a difference between people who take up arms against the government (something you wingnuts seem to think we all need guns to do...when a Democrat is in charge) and arresting some woman who made videos that ICE didn't like.

If ICE was proud of what they were doing, they'd consider this good press.

Most of that information was provided by Newsweek, and the article was rated by the readers as having a far left bias.

Where do you want the information to come from?

You don't believe anything that anyone who doesn't agree with you says. It's been your pattern for as long as you have posted here. You've been proven to be wrong or outright lying hundreds of times and never admitted it.

I didn't surrender, you are just not open to reason. I've got better things to do than argue with a brick wall.
Obviously you know nothing about H.S. & college debate and discussion, nor a court room.

When two sides have a disagreement, the side that has evidence to support their claim, regardless of the quality of the evidence, always is judged victorious.

If both sides have evidence to support their claim, it comes down to the quality of the evidence, the veracity of the claims vis-à-vis the evidence presented, and the overall soundness of the reasoning.

You haven't posted anything to support your reasoning thus? I win by default. You would do well to learn these principles if you care for anyone to take you half-serious around here.

Newsweek has turned into a right wing rag.

Again, all the reports seem pretty vague on her residency status.

When did she enter the country?
Does she have a green card?
Was action taken to revoke her green card when she got a DUI in 2022?

I love when I live in their heads, rent free.

Given how often we've caught DHS and ICE lying since the Puppy-killer took over, we should take what they say with a grain of salt.

Was any action taken at the time when she got the DUI in 2022?

Who cares, she is an illegal, kick her ass out already.
