Colorado @ TCU

Talking trash online and pretending you are a badass.
Maybe you’re such a ***** that someone exhibiting normal behavior seems like a badass to you?

No, it doesn't seem like a badass to me. It seems like someone pretending to be a badass.

If you were a player on CU, you would call the coach whatever he tells you to call him or you don't play and lose your scholarship. But you just keep pretending all this is "normal behavior" from you.

If I was a player off course I’m going to call him coach prime, although I would think this guy is an idiot for wanting to be called that.

He probably wouldn't try to cause shit by starting trouble.
i actually met him one time at Angelo Maxeys in the city. I went up to his table and shook his hand. Seemed like a cool dude. I’m still not going to call him coach prime, because I think it’s a silly nickname. If you think not calling him coach prime is an act of bravery then you’re a ******* *****.

No, I don't think refusing to use his nickname, that he likes and promotes, is bravery. I think it is being an asshole.

This is about an elite player in both college and the NFL, who took a terrible team and turned it around. And you want to make it about his nickname?

Some people earn the right to stand where they are. The fact that you, who never played D1 football, thinks your refusal to use a nickname makes you tough, shows more about you than Coach Prime.

Oh, and if I am a *****, it just proves the old adage "You are what you eat".

You’re obviously in your feelings about it, but I don’t care. I’m not calling him coach Prime. I expect professionalism from coaches. Deion is showing how immature he is.
I kind of agree with Rocko on this. I couldn't bring myself to call him anything other than Coach Sanders. I don't care for all the bling stuff and hotdogging the players on CU do, and to me, "Prime" kind of fits in with that. Now if my son had chosen to play for Sanders, I would have allowed him to make the call, but my son being my son, he grew up in a house of respect, so I am not sure he would call him "Coach Prime" on principle alone.

I never said refusing to use his nickname makes me tough, it doesn’t. So why are you continually calling me a fake tough guy?

Coaches are authority figures and should exude professionalism, and wanting to be called prime goes against professionalism.

No it does not.

Was Coach Bear Bryant unprofessional?

And the way you came in, completely off topic, and started talking shit about how you wouldn't call him Coach Prime, you were trying to be a badass.

Then he probably shouldn't choose to play at CU. I don't know what the coach requires his players to call him. But what he requires is what happens on the team. He replaced basically the entire CU team in the offseason. I doubt he would hesitate to punish or discard anyone not following what he demands.

I don’t know who coach Bear is. I don’t watch much college football. But to want to be referred to as prime time is unsportsmanlike and unprofessional.

Could it be that you were wrong in reading my thinking on acting like a tough guy? All I said is I won’t refer to him as prime . Nothing tough guy about that.

So you don't watch college football. You don't know the name of one of the greatest football coaches of all time.

I guess the relevance of your opinion is pretty low.

I guess you’re too much of a chicken shit to say you misread my post. All I said is I wasn’t calling Sanders prime. You misread my post, and now that it’s been brought to your attention you still double down.

I don’t know Bear Bryant, but the nickname doesn’t scream poor sportsmanship and unprofessionalism like prime time.
