Colorado @ TCU

Watched the whole game. Not a CU or TCU guy. I figured TCU would eventually wear the Buffs down and they almost did but the Buffs just kept making huge play after huge play.

My take based on today is that the Buffs have a solid starting squad and they have some outstanding playmakers on their starting offensive and defensive squads, but they probably don't quite have the size or the depth to compete with the elite SEC, BIG, or ACC teams.

I know people will say that TCU got into the final last year, and they did indeed, but Georgia exposed the fact that TCU was overrated and didn't really belong in the playoff, and the Frogs have lost most of the starters from that team, so this is not a top-5 team that CU beat today.

But that's not taking anything away from what the Buffs have done: they've massively improved in just a matter of months, and while TCU isn't maybe as good as advertised, they're still probably a quality opponent.

CU's going to win games and may make it to a bowl game but they're not in the top 10 conversation - not yet, but they can get there next year if they do well this year.

You’re obviously in your feelings about it, but I don’t care. I’m not calling him coach Prime. I expect professionalism from coaches. Deion is showing how immature he is.
Again who do you think you are? Who’s the immature one? The guy who’s using his Nick name or the one stomping is feet telling another grown man what he will or won’t call him?

Also I can assure you Deion doesn’t give a shit what you think about this subject. He’s the HC of a power 5 football team and you post on a message board…..

You call him what you want (probably Coach N***er) - fine, we get it.

We'll call him what we want. He's Coach Amazon Prime.

CU defense is still suspect, you can run the ball against them, especially up the middle, but they have a cornerback who is one of the best in the nation, and you almost cannot throw to his side of the field. Prime knows the position, and his abilities, so well, that he had him roaming all over the backfield, and you will have a much harder time throwing against that defense.

Right now, they're your usual Big-12 team. All offense, not great defense. But that being said, they did a really good job of tackling. Their main weakness is the lack of depth. They lean heavily on their starters. I could see the Buffs starting 3-0, 4-1 and then fading late because their starters disappear and they may not have the replacements to deal.

If they can impress this year, next year's a different story.

If the coach wants to be called Coach Prime, you would call him that or be off the team. It is not a democracy.

I can't decide what to think about this. I find myself wanting CU to do well, but I don't know if it works to wholesale get rid of players without giving them a chance to compete. I can't decide if that is "not treating people well" or is it just business.

You post on a message board too, noob, and I can assure you I don’t give one iota of what you think.

What about people not on the team, do they have to call and refer to him as prime? I wouldn’t

I’m not telling anyone what name they should or shouldnt be called am I? Unlike someone else in this thread. See the difference?

The bottom line is if you were an athlete that wanted to play D1 ball and Dieon wanted you to call him Coach Assnshits you would.

a lot of truth in your post but not all good. TCU beat MI last year. They were legit.

TCU has little defense right now as COL proved. TCU is back to normal Big 12 shootout style team, got outshot.

Impressive to me was COL line play both O&D.

finally….you and Winterborn say the same BS every time. Can’t play SEC…..until an undefeated Central FLA or whatever knocks off SEC when given a chance in a bowl game.

Yeah yoh should because that’s what he a grown man wants to be called. Unless you ok with anyone just deciding what they are going to call you regardless of what you want to be called. Maybe we should start a poll and everyone else can decide what your name on this board will be.
