Cole Allen Sneaks By K9 Handler

And there were maybe 5 more there not captured in the camera shot off to the Left. The K9 dude with the dog was utterly useless: he ignored his dog's interest and warnings, he had the guy cornered right there in a side room who was just waiting for him to leave to barge out and the K9 dude suspected nothing and not only didn't suspect the guy, stop the guy snooping around right in the area, but he didn't even warn those downstream, instead turning and walking away not even seeing the guy bolt out of the room covered in guns and knives. I'm not even sure if the K9 guy even ever came back into the shot even after the shooting began, I think he left to go get a mocha latte.

And the one guy standing there with the attacker running straight at him missed hitting him with every shot while the attacker guy running full tilt managed to hit him right in the chest and would have killed him had he not been wearing a vest.

Maybe 15 guys all standing around and not one got in the shooter's way, blocked him, tripped him, they actually moved AWAY from the shooter, one guy nearly fell over trying to get out of his way. They didn't even have any kind of obstacles or barriers to slow someone down from tearing right through the area. These people were begging to get swarmed. They are just lucky this was not a well-thought out planned attack by a few pros. I'm sure Russia, Iran, and N. Korea are thinking that, hell, they could send an assassination squad of their guys in at anytime and take out the entire US government's executive branch at will if they really wanted to with this level of incompetency.

If I were Trump, I would be looking to fire most of the people in this video as useless protection for him and I'd be laying awake at night wondering if someone was actually trying to create an opening to get him killed.

What I want to know is where in the world did these people receive their training?

I've heard that despite his public pronouncements of support and admiration for the Secret Service, behind closed doors Trump and family are NOT pleased.

I would hope not. I mean, in Butler Pa, Trump was just a candidate and they made GLARING goof-ups. And it nearly got Trump shot dead right in the face. Then they missed a guy with a rifle hiding out in his hedges for 12 hours; doesn't anyone inspect or patrol the perimeter of MarALago?

And now this. Frankly, I'm embarrassed for my country that this is the best we can do. Cole Allen SHOULD have been noticed as a suspicious character reviewing hotel video during the days before, then picked up and questioned due to his then caruising the area immediately adjacent to the area on banquet day.

And certainly, when he went into that side room right up the hall, the K9 guy should have noticed the guy literally armed to the teeth about ready to bolt the banquet, and finally, the floor should have had breaks in it to limit the number of people and speed through the area so that if someone tried this, there would be time to slow him down and nab him.

In any operation this important, there should be surprises on the event day that even if someone cased the joint and planned this, they should be met with unexpected surprises and changes that would foul most plans. I wonder, was anyone paying attention to the rooms immediately above and below where the dignitaries were seated to be sure no one planted a bomb there? Why am I wanting to guess no?

Kari Lake was there that night and even she commented on the very low level and laxness of security and she noted how easily guests were able to just freely walk right in.

There have been THREE direct attempts on Trump's life now:
  1. Trump survived Butler Pa on sheer LUCK alone. Had that bullet been just 1/2" to the right, Trump would be dead.
  2. On sheer luck alone as I recall, a neighbor or someone else on the street spotting Ryan Routh hiding in a hedge and notified authorities, and he still almost got away at that.
  3. This Cole guy came within a few feet of making it past perhaps 30 secret service and getting into a crowded banquet hall that held the President, the VP, the Speaker of the House, the Sect. of State, the Sect. of War, the Attorney General, the Commerce Sect., the Treasury Sect., DNI Sect., head of the FBI, Chief of Staff, and I don't know who all. Had Allen succeeded, Chuck Grassley would be president now with most of his exec cabinet dead.
Frankly, I consider the event an embarrassment for the Trump Administration and if I were attending a function with Trump, I would have to weigh the benefit of being there vs. the increased risk of being in the same room and possibly being involved in a gunman attack or a bombing at this point because President Trump has NOT demonstrated to me his ability to really secure his own area, much less win this war in Iran, which despite all that is claimed, is not over yet.

Until President Trump demonstrates to me that he is truly protected and by skill, planning, thoroughness and preparation instead of just sheer luck, I will consider him lucky to be alive. Even worse, the guy openly admits to not even wearing a vest because it would add 20 pounds to his figure. That is a foolish admission and whether true or not, Trump better not be letting vanity go to his head because next attempt, and there will almost surely be yet another, next time they will likely be going for a head shot just to be sure.

By the time Trump came out to sit down at the WHCD table that night, everyone else should have already been there and all main doors for regular access into the room by the public locked and guarded.

I like Trump I really do but he doesn't always make the wisest decisions. Especially when it comes to his safety.

I realize that I've been hard on him for some stuff but if I didn't have faith in him and think that he is a pretty darn good president then I wouldn't be pointing these things out when he disappoints me because I expect better out of him and I don't have any doubts that he can bring his all when he wants to, he's just got to want to.

Anyways, that's sort of topic, I just wanted you to see where I've been coming from from being a tad bit harsh on him lately.

What I want to know is where in the world did these people receive their training?

I think some in the video were local cops off the beat just helping out, and likely most of the rest were rentacops hired to staff this event with maybe just 1-2 people in the bunch actual SS there for communication and direction.

If I were head of the SS, I would want to know who that K9 cop was and get him in for questioning. That dude would either be held on suspicion, charged with gross incompetence and dereliction of duty, fired, and/or sent back for more training.

You see, the problem here is lack of consequences. People screw up and fall far short of need and expectation and nothing is done. Maybe you get questioned a little, a little reprimand.

Over in places like China, Russia, Iran or N. Korea, they don't make lapses like this because there is accountability. Over there, if some K9 officer was as lax as this, he might get horsewhipped, beaten, thrown in a dungeon or shot.

You better bet your sweet ass those guys take their jobs VERY seriously over there because it might mean their own lives if they screw up.

IMO, far too much advanced info giving Trump's time and location at various places is given out too freely and early. Trump takes his own safety too lightly resisting wearing a vest, using bulletproof shields and the like. Iran has tried to kill Trump twice I think and I bet they and others would love to see Trump dead. And these people do not fool around. Trump could very well be the most despised, marked for death leader in the world, and he should be the most protected man in the world.

Who knows, maybe he is, but the events and details of this WHCD shooting do not exactly convey confidence in me for the SS, and false confidence or not, this can only invite others to try to get at him.

Either Trump is not taking his safety seriously enough or he is trying too hard to convey a nonchalant atmosphere of casual indifference for public-image reasons.

I feel almost certain that at some point in the future, a SERIOUS attempt will be made to get Trump, not some halfwit kid from Pittsburgh washing dirty linen at a rest home, not some 3-time loser hiding in a hedger, and not some warped maggot school teacher from California, but professional hit men from another country who might try to get him with a bomb or something.

Our SS and CIA, et al are hopefully on maximum alert looking for any such effort.

For instance, they had TWO metal detectors at the WHCD, but they were side by side! What idiot thought that up? For the ease and convenience of the guests? Move them through more quickly? What do you do if one of them goes off detecting something? How do you know which one? How do you keep track of the other people going through while dealing with this?

One metal detector should be down the hallway with several adjacent rooms locked and held empty. There is security on BOTH sides of the detector. You cannot just run through. People are individually let through one at a time. If they needed a holding area to hold guests to get them off the street while they check through security, they could have used one of those adjacent side rooms.

Then farther down the hall, you go through a second detector and checkpoint. No one can run through. There is security on both sides and they check each person for a hand stamp or something to prove they passed through the first checkpoint then are quickly screened again at the second detector, their invitation and ticket verified off a list of guests, before actually gaining access to the banquet.

Finally, the Pres and VP NEVER appear together in public in the same space. Further, Trump does not come out to join the guests at the dinner until all guests there are screened, seated, and all avenues of public access are secured and only the kitchen staff serving the food, etc., can enter the room.

I mean, what are we dealing with here, a bunch of amateurs? I hope this does not embarrass the SS too much that a guy can draw up better plans for securing a president with crib-notes scribbled on a napkin than they can apparently do in real life against a president with already TWO such attempts made on his life.

Next time this happens, the perp better be nabbed in the act before he gets within a block of the president, with the speed and sagacity of Steve McGarrett.

Watch the three female cops in the background. Yeah, I want them protecting me (sarcasm alert).

Does the Iranian government count?

I wish I could disagree with something you just said ... but I cannot.
Well done.
The Secret Service needs to get its shit together and immediately.

Yeah well so does Trump. He needs to fire these people and swallow his pride and get a bulletproof vest. I'm not sure if you've seen my new thread yet but now Iran has him targeted.

Absolutely.
I know he's close to the head of the Secret Service. But they need to make Big Changes and PRONTO.

I really don't want to underestimate our president because I know that he's probably many steps ahead of me it's just that more and more I'm becoming disappointed in the choices that he's been making and now I have been having second thoughts about the war because it seems like lately Trump is getting us into more trouble than getting us out of it but I really hope and pray that I'm wrong and it's all just in my imagination.

I guarantee you that enemy foreign governments like Iran, et al, are viewing this hotel video and seeing glaring lapses in security. I really cannot rationalize any lapse in Trump's security now in light of the two previous attempts and the other three strange incidents--- this is simply an unprecedented number of risky events surrounding him.

I see way too many avenues of room for improvement here where things could have been way tighter without imposing any terrible burden on the other attendees.

I'm seeing way too many parallels here to the same kind of laxness and arrogance as occurred right before 9/11 hit our WTC and Pentagon. And the WH was only saved by brave citizens who took their plane down in sacrifice of their lives to stop the pirateers.

I do indeed sure hope Trump is taking these people to task privately and chewing a few a-holes out for the leader of the free world not having iron-clad security in a country that spends more on military than the next 3-4 countries combined.
