WOW!! I would not have believed it if I didn't see it for myself on the camera myself and I'm pretty sure the news media isn't going to show you this. He's literally looking directly at the guy while his K9 officer is alerting him that there's a problem. This needs to be put under investigation IMMEDIATELY!! What the heck!? 😮

Tagging JohnDB because I already agreed with you that Trump's security team was a joke, but this is chilling.

Cole was likely hiding out of line of sight of the officer....the dog alerted but his handler was unprepared, not well trained, unused to the dog.

Dogs and handlers must be trained together intensively to be any good.

And that's why Cole snuck by. Because immediately after this he makes a run for it.

The dog and handler is not as much an issue as much as the open and unlocked door.
It's a security breach to have an open, unlocked door to a room like that....and we see why.

But NOBODY did anything about the room or the door. Barely let the dog in it. At this point the very expensive, highly trained dog might as well be an emotional support animal for how his handler is using him.

But this is what happens when those who failed the most at Butler PA are promoted and your buddy is in charge of your security....who really sucks at Security. (Despite really being a buddy and talking a good game but being lousy at being in charge of security)

Some of this is Trump's own fault. His security chief is his own doings. Granted, he doesn't know who to trust to get a good one....especially when the ones wanting to off him are in his inner circle or extended circle.

Trump is on the move A LOT. Meaning theres supposed to be a lot of planning beforehand and security checks and securing travel routes and locations before Trump arrives.
It doesn't look like they are taking any of it seriously.

In the future, I wouldn't hire his former team if I needed security.

Well, either way it's just lazy and I'm pretty sure that everybody on here knows that too. Especially the left. So far nobody has came on here to defend the officer because they know that they can't. He definitely should be fired at the very least and yeah it certainly is Trump's fault. I'm almost tempted to say that he should fire his whole entire security team and start from scratch.

I have to agree with most every point the black dude hosting the video spoke on. There have been several issues that have bugged me from the start.
  • Obviously, the K9 dude. That guy was right there, those dogs are trained to smell fireams and gunpowder to react to and the shooter was loaded with guns. Not only is the K9 guy right there looking in the room, but he pulls the dog back and literally turns his back and walks away which was the cue on which the shooter ran out attacking.
  • The first guy on the lower left fired with the guy coming right at him and missed every time. Not head of the class in gun school? I mean the shooter guy was running under full power and managed to hit this guy right in the chest--- maybe the secret service ought to hire this Cole Allen and make him an offer?
  • By all measures, I would have hoped the SS had monitored hotel video for a few days prior to the event to look for suspicious people and behavior. They might have noticed this guy walking around casing the place.
  • I'm still disappointed that the SS didn't put up just a couple of barriers that people have to go around and can't just push out of their way or jump over. Something forcing a person through an S-curve or something limiting your ability through quickly.

My biggest question is why are they just allowing a random guy roaming around the halls and going into rooms. If they weren't all off into Lala Land they could have stopped him before it even began.

The same nitwits who were running SS when Butler happened are still in charge of the clown car.
It's as though they want Trump killed too.

I was thinking the same thing. My first thought is that some enemy of ours, maybe Russia or Iran or someone will see this video and realize what a bunch of chumps and easy pushovers these guards are! I mean, watching these people like the one guy central in the video with an ear bud practically falls over stumbling , so caught off guard and unprepared, that I realized that had this been a real tough, crack team of people, a squad of real Rambo types, hired assassins, that a group of 3-4 such people might have easily overwhelmed and beaten these people.

I mean, even after the shooter ran by like 12-15 of them, they all still stood there and just stared ahead in shock and disbelief pointing their guns down the hall for several seconds but not one of them actually ran after the attacker. This attacker should have been stopped at that side room up the hallway by the K9 guard and his dog and it never should have gotten any farther. Any farther I consider a total fail by the department. They would probably bullwhip you with no shirt on in Russia if you failed that badly at guarding Putin.

I would not sleep well with this bunch guarding my ass; 15 guys and this school teacher ran by all of them like they were smoke.

But no one would notice that without actively following all camera video in the entire hotel closely for days first. Perhaps someone should have been doing that, apparently.

Agreed one hundred percent with you which is exactly why I'm reckoning that this video won't make the news. The first reason is because any leverage to give our enemies a shot at the president knowing full well that his security team is weak isn't disastrous for us. That and it still might possibly be an inside job so you can know for sure that these people don't want the public knowing that.

Bingo!! In a place like that security cameras should be everywhere.

What is a joke is that this isn't the first time Trump has been attacked. Fool me once, shame on you... right? He has had THREE attempts on his life now with a total of SIX suspicious events which might have lead to a threat on his life, and I attribute LUCK more for Trump surviving them all than I do any crack security team protecting him.

When Trump was nearly shot in the face by a sniper in Pennsylvania in 2024, the team of agents surrounding his car protecting him after they got Trump inside looked like a bunch of short, chubby girls with one serious-looking male in the foreground.

Part of me wants to believe we are just soft, presumptuous, and flabby, but the other part of me worries that these people are not doing as good a job as they should be. I mean, /everyone/ was in that room and had this guy succeeded, Chuck Grassley would be our president right now.

Yeah, well that's DEI for you. That's why I think that Trump should swallow his pride and wear a bullet proof vest if he secretly isn't already. Of course it won't do him much good if the next person tries to pull a Thomas Crooks and blow his brains out. Without a bulletproof vest or a solid security team one of these times Trump's luck and our luck is going to run out and we can't let that happen.

Who? Wouldn't it be Vance?

Bingo!! In a place like that security cameras should be everywhere.

Let's just say this: from what I've heard, this security was in three layers. Somewhere inside that ballroom probably hiding here a bunch of crack Navy Seal types, trained commandos who could hit a small lizard at 50 paces with one eye shut. You never see these guys and don't even know they exist unless a full-out crisis occurs, then they jump out and will stomp anyone who gets in their way of protecting the president and getting him to safety.

Surrounding the actual ballroom covering all avenues of entry are some sort of response team who while not invisible try to stay fairly innocuous unless some sort of actual event occurs. These are the people who actually stopped Cole Allen.

On the outer perimeter covering the principle and planned stages of entry where the president's sphere of influence begins in so public a place is the third and outermost layer of security. These are a mixture of local beat cops along with some scarfed up rentacops they got off the street along with maybe 1-2 of their own guys for communication. These are the folks we saw in the video. They are there as much for impressions and looks as they are for anything else.

I sure hope that you're right because from what I saw on the video, these guys couldn't even beat me on a game of Duck Hunt. 🙄

Their performance has been most unimpressive.
They need a major shakeup.
I've heard that despite his public pronouncements of support and admiration for the Secret Service, behind closed doors Trump and family are NOT pleased.

I just don't know why this thread isn't as active as I thought that it would be. I would think that this is pretty breaking news even though it isn't official news.
