Cold Mountain

It's a Civil War flick. Nicole Kidman. (damn, she's still a hottie!) The only other actors I recognized was the guy who played the Coach in 'Major League' and the chick that played the Queen of Naboo & Anakin Skywalker's honey (Luke & Leia's mother) in Star Wars.

Great acting, good story line (that was somewhat predictable) and some bloody, graphic battles. Some parts actually made me cringe for the atrocities commited & torture.

Another long movie, but it kept my attention throughout. 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I've been wanting to check this out, just haven't been in the mood to watch an epic love story/war movie lately. I might get it tomorrow, though.

I didnt like it. The storyline was kind of weak, and the fat hillbilly girl really made me wanna throw up. I'd watch Pearl Harbor for a war/love flick rather than Cold Mountain.
