Colbert martyr syndrome

Liberals are in denial todays liberal is destroying what those before them built. We went from Johnny Carson and letterman to cry **** colbert and the fat guy you dumb cocks

Woke destroys everything, you liberals built that.

Colbert says he will spend the next ten months increasing his attacks on Trump.

Colbert is going to go the way of Keith Olbermann. Basing your entire career on hating one man is never a good career move.

The 61-year-old comic opened after a standing ovation and a lengthy applause
Wow, I did not realize Colbert was supposed to be a comic! I've never heard him say a single funny thing!

from the New York City crowd by saying 'cancel culture has gone too far' and then joked now that the show is ending, he can say whatever he feels.
Good, I hope he does. I hope he F bombs Trump in bitter bile every night forcing Paramount to take the cretin off the air even sooner.

You gotta love democrats: they never lose well, they never end well. They all go down like a Messerschmidt with its one wing town off.

Remember back when Rush was alive how he controlled the AM market, simply by having people willing to listen to his commercials to hear him speak. Left wingers cried when they couldn't hold an audience without insuring no "real" callers got through to argue "live" on their failed talking points. Thus no syndication for them.

Stephen Colbert called himself a 'martyr' before firing off a crude message to Donald Trump, warning 'the gloves are off' after the president gloated over The Late Show’s cancellation.

The comedian's decade-long run as the host of CBS' late night flagship will end next May, with network insiders suggesting the top-rated show was canceled because it was losing anywhere from $40 to $100million per year.

The cancellation was announced just days after Colbert called CBS' parent company Paramount's $16million settlement with Trump over deceptive editing of a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris a 'big fat bribe.'

I am the martyr. There is only room for one on this cross. And the view is fantastic from up here. I can see your house!'

Comment:
Colbert believes that he is a martyr for the corrupt Democrat Party.
Colbert was a poor interviewer and a cringy comedian.
His show was losing $millions$ per year.
His unhinged psycho hate and anger was fun to laugh at.
A martyr for what exactly?

It’s not for comedy, he’s not funny.
It’s not for TV ratings, he doesn’t have any.
It’s not for politics, he’s lost that twice now.

What is he a martyr for? Entitled people on tv that think the world owes them an adoring audience?

I hope CBS lets him have his 10 month on-air meltdown.

This is gonna be fun.

He will be able to name his price for his next gig.

And he will ridicule and condemn your beloved fuhrer for as long as he needs to.
His next gig is a podcast. And he will get about the same amount of followers as Michelle or Lemon.

He’s remarkably stale. No wonder you adore his TDS show.

People like Colbert are a leftwing investment. He has cost them untold millions in the hopes of turning America farther Left.

But at some point, even the Idiot Left must admit their mistakes, admit they are going broke funding these losers like Colbert, and cut their loses.

Problem for the left is, everything the left has invested in has failed.

They have nowhere to go now. The money supply has been shut off. There’s no more tax dollars for PBS, the democrat slushfund at USAID is closed, the party is 20 million in debt and can’t even pay that off, tv networks can’t afford to keep losing 40 million a year on shows people don’t watch, movie studios can’t keep pumping out woke movies and losing hundreds of millions in the process.

Trump has devastated their entire operation in 6 months, they can’t make it another 3 1/2 years.

The Far Left have literally bankrupted themselves of billions of dollars over the last ten years, last five in particular, trying to break Donald.

But as you say, Donald broke them.

How could it be losing 40-100 million a year?

The show has $70,000,000 in revenues. That would mean it would cost 110 to 170 million a year to make.

It's certainly not Colbert's salary; he only makes $15 million a year. (which is about comprable to what Fallon and Kimmel make with much lower ratings.)

It seems to me that we should investigate both CBS/Paramount for potential bribery.

Or liberals just realized that AM Radio is largely a dead medium.

Last few years of his life, Limbaugh was completely irrelevant. The last time he even got any attention was when he called Sandra Fluke a slut and lost half his advertisers.

Where are you getting those numbers? What does the show cost per year to produce? I think all have proved is Fallon and Kimmel should be preparing for their layoffs.

I don't know, look at NY. It is easy, for the masses to believe and vote for the fantasy, not understanding the consequences or blaming them on the right people.

I spent most of my life an Ignorant Democrat, until 9/11. That woke me up and I started looking things up and figuring out stuff for myself. If only I knew, before then, what I know now. :(

Don't get me wrong, there are things wrong with the right too. For example I am Agnostic and don't want a Theocracy. Maybe I'll join Dianetics, maybe not.

If you want to live in a decent society you should probably stick with the Christians.

Sure, here you go.

Paramount says its decision to cancel “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” despite it being the No. 1 late-night television program was “purely a financial decision.”

But there is little in Paramount Global Inc.’s recent earnings report to indicate that the finances of its television division had eroded so precipitously that jettisoning one of its trademark programs would be a necessary solution.

Executives even highlighted the show’s performance as the No. 1 late-night broadcast show
.

Now, keep in mind, Paramount blew 80 - 120 million dollars on a Star Trek movie that released straight to streaming and almost no one watched. (The few hard-core Trekkies like myself thoroughly hated it.)
