Colbert martyr syndrome

CBS are idiots for keeping him on. He will spend the next 10 moths promoting his new Youtube chanel and CBS will have to fire him and sue him. The same thing happened with Howard Stern, but the suits at CBS are not the brightest fries in the Happy Meal.

It is alot of trouble to go through just to get rid of a Union contract.

Colbert is popular enough to be a danger to the Trump regime that will need to be neutralized.

It may not escalate past the usual hate rhetoric.

He will be able to name his price for his next gig.

And he will ridicule and condemn your beloved fuhrer for as long as he needs to.
In the real world, anyone with a show consistently losing the kind of money Colbert was losing will not easily find another gig at all. His audience is lacking. That's why it was losing money.

Tim, who do you think will offer the money you think he can get? If the Jimmies (Kimmel & Fallon) are losing money as well, what prevents them from being on the chopping block?

The entire format is dead. The only people left watching are old. Colberts audience averages 68...ten years ago it was 60.
A simple inspection of mortality tables will show that most of the audience will literally be dead in a few years.

These Progressive socialist shills will fly to rich white areas of the planet to live if we have massive civil discourse. He makes near half of the deficit of his show a year. If he is a pure socialist, then he would not live opulently. All of them need to give up95%of their wealth to those who do need it. This time around, Trump has a much better administration. One that will tell those who tell them to **** off, to do the same.

He was a bad choice for that gig to begin with and then he abandoned the shtick that made him famous to begin with. I got to see Letterman live a few times. That slot has been downhill since then and he probably stayed three years too long himself.

Anyway, if you ever get a chance to hear music in the Ed Sullivan theater, don't pass it up. The acoustics in that place are amazing. A magnitude of 10 better than what you hear on your TV. I never thought Paul Shaffer and his band warranted the praise they got until I heard them live there. I went from hating them to wanting to hear them in concert after my first time in the audience.

Colbert is headed the way of Keith Olbermann.

One of them is going to end up wearing a suicide vest in front of the White House.

CBS paid because $16 million was cheaper than the lawyers were going to be.

Trump had no case. The paltry size of the settlement the arbitrator proposed makes that very clear.

Trump got a tiny fraction of what he asked for.

Nothing more than "go away money".
Trump had no case despite winning and getting $16 million.:cuckoo:

The word martyr is overwhelmingly used to describe someone who suffer or die for any cause, principle, or belief. This could include political activists, human rights advocates, or anyone who makes a great sacrifice for their convictions. I don’t believe getting your late night talk show cancelled qualifies one for the title of martyr.

Stephen Colbert called himself a 'martyr' before firing off a crude message to Donald Trump, warning 'the gloves are off' after the president gloated over The Late Show’s cancellation.

The comedian's decade-long run as the host of CBS' late night flagship will end next May, with network insiders suggesting the top-rated show was canceled because it was losing anywhere from $40 to $100million per year.

The cancellation was announced just days after Colbert called CBS' parent company Paramount's $16million settlement with Trump over deceptive editing of a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris a 'big fat bribe.'

I am the martyr. There is only room for one on this cross. And the view is fantastic from up here. I can see your house!'

Comment:
Colbert believes that he is a martyr for the corrupt Democrat Party.
Colbert was a poor interviewer and a cringy comedian.
His show was losing $millions$ per year.
His unhinged psycho hate and anger was fun to laugh at.
I'm OK with the left being martyrs. That just means they're dead and the more dead lefty martyrs, the better.
