CNN immediately claims Manhattan shooter was WHITE

So she was fired.

That takes care of that one.
She was fired for her tweets but that’s not really the point. The point is, a lot of people were on board with her and either ran with the narrative or defended her words.

As for this case, if we can question why some are upset over CNN saying “probably white” then we can most certainly ask why CNN said this in the first place, especially considering that the guy looks black in the photo.

Dude just murdered a bunch of people and you guys care more about what the reporter said.

LoL.
Because fanning the race card is dangerous. One is natural whereas CNN is deliberately saying the shooter must be a Trump supporter because the shooter is white. That’s how CNN sees it. Perhaps CNN should wait for the facts to come in before saying the shooter is a white guy.

Meh. Stupid people say dumb things on the internet all the time. The one who started it got fired. Works for me. And she said “possibly white”, not “probably white”. You guys are more upset about that honest mistake than what actually happened.

When did CNN say the shooter must be a Trump supporter because the shooter is white?

Honest mistake from CNN? I think not. The network has a history of hashing out misinformation masquerading as legit news.

Yet here you are, criticizing people for saying dumb things on the internet.

So then, the suspect could have possibly been black, Hispanic, Asian, Middle Eastern or Inuit. That being the case, why did they speculate about race at all?

One could argue that CNN was more concerned about the suspect’s race than what actually happened. They’re the ones who broached race in their report after all.

Yea. It’s such a tragedy. We should start a GoFundMe for all the lives that have been tragically impacted by the reporter saying “possibly white”.

Let’s all take a moment of silence.

Silence. . .

With You. . .

In the same room. . .

Silence, you say?

Promise?

What tragedy? This is not earthshattering and I never made it out to be so your last post was specious and a conflation.

The pain and suffering that all of those people endured when the reporter said "possibly white" is not conflation. It's a tragedy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those victims.
