They had every expectation of obscurity. The meeting was not on Clinton's or Lynch's plane. No one was on that plane to witness the meeting. Not even a pilot. Secret Service was there making sure there were no photos taken.

Someone arranged for an empty plane to be on that tarmac and house the meeting with Clinton and Lynch. Arrangements were made for that meeting at the last minute.

I was going to point out the same thing. NSA is listening. And they might even suspect the right is listening. Plus, there would be a record of the call.

They didn't think they'd get caught.

They should both be smart enough to know that the appearance of impropriety would be a problem. It doesn't matter whether they were meeting as friends or whether Bill was using his favorite tactic of soft intimidation to get his way, it was wrong for them to meet. Meeting as buddies is just as bad as meeting regarding the case because one shows bias on Lynch's part and the other is just sleazy tactics as usual.

Point is that there never should have been any meeting, phone call, or emails. Meeting is the only way to talk without leaving records. Again, they didn't think they'd get caught but a local reporter noticed them. And he was ordered not to use his camera or phone.
