Puerto Rico is a TERRITORY, not a State.

This is not a 'Hillary' thread, it's a 'Territory versus State' thread.

No major disrespect meant towards Puerto Rico, BUT....In a way Puerto Rico is like your mooching uncle who always has his hand out and wants to have a say in your immediate family's business but is not REALLY part of the immediate family.

Should they really be VOTING, though, like 'immediate' family? Part of me believes that right should be afforded to STATES / Citizens of US States. If you want that right - forgive my crassness - 'shite or get off the pot!' Become a state.

What do you guys think?

If I have to have a link for this discussion, I guess UI will use this one:

Primaries aren't the same as general elections. They are party decisions that, as a private entity, parties may extend to include whomever they wish. They're American citizens after all. The Republicans had one too. Rubio won all the delegates! What's this hear about Lyin' Don getting "yuge" numbers with Hispanics? :laugh2:

Was there ever any doubt? Democrats had to vote for a women this time. I'm predicting right now that the 2024 nominee will either be gay or a straight up socialist or even a gay socialist.
