Climategate U-turn as scientist at centre of row admits: There has been no global warming since 1995

* Data for vital 'hockey stick graph' has gone missing
* There has been no global warming since 1995
* Warming periods have happened before - but NOT due to man-made changes

Data: [picture caption] Professor Phil Jones admitted his record keeping is 'not as good as it should be' [Do'oh!]

The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information. [DO'OH!]

Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers. [Do'oh!]

Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’. [Duh!]

The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.

Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon. [No shit, Sherlock!]

And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.

I hear at Greenpeace and the Sierra Club, they're filling the punchbowl as we speak. Watch for the taste of bitter almonds.

THERE has been no global warming for 15 years, a key scientist admitted yesterday in a major U-turn.

Professor Phil Jones, who is at the centre of the “Climategate” affair, conceded that there has been no “statistically significant” rise in temperatures since 1995.

The admission comes as new research casts serious doubt on temperature records collected around the world and used to support the global warming theory.

Researchers said yesterday that warming recorded by weather stations was often caused by local factors rather than global change.

Best cast an eye toward the nearest steep cliffs, to try and keep the true believers from attempting to leap to their deaths.

They will just ignore this and make some asinine statement about how he is only one person, ohh and he isn't really a climatologist at all. Further they will uncover proof he has been paid by the Oil Industry.

Test for the scientifically challenged:
Start you car. Put your hand on the exhaust that comes out of the pipe.
Is it hot or cold?

ROFLMAO! His dog ate his homework!

All the talk about climate change is the only thing I know of that has more bullshit associated with it than politics.

Professor Phil Jones, who is at the centre of the “Climategate” affair, conceded that there has been no “statistically significant” rise in temperatures since 1995.

It goes on further, stating local condition changes (and poor observation locations) are to blame.

Pretty much what I have said for months on this board. Your leader just conceded to all my main points. Can we focus on real environmental problems now? How about nuclear power and recycling the wastes from that process?
