When the president talks about guns, you fools have a fit.
When the president doesn't talk about guns, you fools have a fit.
Stop pretending you care about dead cops or other victims of guns. The fault for shootings lies directly at the door of those who fight against keeping guns out of the hands of criminals, terrorists, illegals and the mentally ill. That's the OP.
And finally, in point of fact, climate change is far more important than any other issue you can name.
Climate change???
When President Obama
visits Alaska this week to campaign for a new international agreement to fight global warming climate change, Alaska will be experiencing
colder than normal weather and forecast summer snows, as seen in this
WeatherBell.com graphic of forecast total snowfall by Friday:
Glaciers were Already Retreating Before 1900
The supposed poster child glacier for global warming in Alaska is Mendenhall Glacier…
except that it had already retreated one mile by the early 1900s, long before human greenhouse gas emissions could be blamed.

Furthermore, its retreat is
uncovering large tree stumps approximately 1,000 years old, coincidentally coinciding with the (naturally-caused) Medieval Warm Period, back when the Vikings were able to farm in Greenland.
Which begs the question: How could it have been warm enough to grow giant trees 1,000 years ago in an area now covered in ice? We don’t know why it was so warm 1,000 years ago—climate scientists don’t like to talk about it because they can’t explain it — but for some reason they are sure that your SUV is causing current warmth.

And.......While Arctic sea ice continues to decline, Antarctic levels are confounding the world’s most trusted climate models with record highs for the third year running.
Karl Mathiesen investigates.
Antarctic ice floes extended further than ever recorded this southern winter, confounding the world’s most-trusted climate models.
“It’s not expected,” says Professor John Turner, a climate expert at the British Antarctic Survey. “The world’s best 50 models were run and 95% of them have Antarctic sea ice decreasing over the past 30 years.”
The winter ice around the southern continent has been growing relatively constantly since records began in 1979. The US National Snow and Ice Data Centre (NSIDC), which monitors sea ice using satellite data, said this week that the year’s maximum was 1.54m sq km (595,000 sq miles) above the 1981-2010 average. The past three winters have all produced record levels of ice.
Why is Antarctic sea ice at record levels despite global warming?
