Climate change is a hoax, says Townhall columnist.. 97% of Americans are not concerned about it

Yes it has always been going on. So in your tiny little partisan mind that means we should not do anything to try and adapt to the changes, we should just pretend that nothing is changing and let it all ride.

In the 70s it was an ice age.

In the 90s we went through a warm spell, so it was GLOBAL WARMING.

Then they couldn't get away with that anymore, so "climate change".

Guess what? Now it looks like a solar minimum, so back to the freezer. Nothing anyone can do about that.

Right, I am not opposed to adapting. But basically ending all private ownership (the real goal) will not help anyone adapt.

You know those commie fuckers will (have) exploit the shit out of this.

None of them give two craps about the climate. Look, they wanted us to have masks over our faces for TWO YEARS...many of them, most in fact, disposable. That's how much they care about the environment

We need to figure out the fact that solar flares could take out our technology.

And the power grid, etc. Rather than fainting all over about polar bears or whatever

Why do you believe this when it is from the same people that you dismiss with a wave of your hand on most every other topic?

Because in the middle of the night Congress will pass a 40,000 page bill fucking us all up the ass.

You know damn well that is what they will do.

They are going to do that no matter what as long as we keep voting the duopoly into power

But if we the people do not act and do things to adapt to the changes we are going to pay the price for it. Do you not think that the changing climate has anything to do with the water problems out west?

Not one person has denied the climate changes.
It is dumbasses that believe it should be static.
The difference between natural changes in the climate over past centuries and what is happening now is the billions of tons of greenhouse gases being emitted in to the atmosphere by man burning fossil fuels.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Close to two thirds of U.S. adults are concerned about global warming, with 43% worrying about it "a great deal" and 22% "a fair amount." Gallup also finds 43% of Americans believing that global warming will pose a serious threat to themselves or their way of life in their lifetime, underscoring that roughly four in 10 harbor strong concern.

Are Americans Concerned About Global Warming?

As the federal government contemplates funding projects intended to mitigate the effects of extreme weather, how concerned are Americans about a warming Earth?

Hear that? It's the sound of the OP's premise doing a face plant.

you mean California?

Most people don't realize this, but California is a fucking desert. Always has been. Or at least, always has been as long as we've been a country.

Last year Texas was overloaded with water from all the rain. This year we've had very little rain during the summer, and the temperatures were above 100 most places for more than 40 days in a row.

Because I believe everything the government tries to do is going to be a huge fucking mess, doing nothing is probably the only safe thing to do.

I'm willing to hear your argument to the contrary and show evidence were government has not fucked up everything it touches.

More than just Cali, but yes you hit the nail on the head. We have taken desert places and made them into lush green paradises or agricultural meccas. Yuma Az, the hottest city in the country according to a magazine when I lived there is also the Lettuce Capital of the world.

We can continue to fight over the cause of the changes or we can do something and shift production away from these areas.

Which do you think is more likely to happen?

Here's how concerned they are:

68% of Americans Wouldn’t Pay $10 a Month in Higher Electric Bills to Combat Climate Change

i think a lot of scientists have been saying it for a long time but the loudmouth fake ones get the attention

hey, just like anything else on Planet Earth!
Are ye fucking serious...

Every major scientific organisation says it is real and is man made....

Are yous saying that the Climate Change is happening but it is not man made?
OR
Climate change isn't happening at all?

Can you give us your top three scientists supporting your view...

Feel free to vote for someone who has no chance of getting elected. The less your vote counts, the better.

So-called "Scientific organizations" are all dependent on government to provide employment for their members. Their votes have been bought and paid for.

Another person who wants tell us than Climate Change isn't happening but only ends up showing us he doesn't know the difference between Climate and Weather.

You are such a good and faithful little drone. Your party masters must just be so very proud of you! :itsok:

Another person who wants tell us than Climate Change isn't happening but only ends up showing us he doesn't know the difference between Climate and Weather.

But the things he mentioned are a result of the changing climate. Just like the changing rain patterns around most of the country.

So you think it it is a conspiracy of thousands and thousands of scientists around the world?
No one breaking ranks... Massive falsifying of data, I mean this would be huge... Thermometers would have to be rigged...

Global Satellites would have to be hacked...
Glaciers would have to be melted...

Can you tell us how do the create all the extreme weather events... Have they a machine to do that...

So what is the end goal? These people are already brilliant with technology we have never even heard about...

But the things he mentioned are a result of the changing climate. Just like the changing rain patterns around most of the country.
