It was good. It's cool to hear a humble, no-BS rapper these days, y'know? Made me want to check out more Atmosphere. We've been over this before, but what's their best album, in your opinion?

"God Loves Ugly", followed by "Seven's Travels". Beyond that, it depends on what parts of Atmosphere you like more.

Oh, by the way, The AV Club's doing a week-long thing about underground hip-hop, so there's probably more stuff on there that you'll be interested in.

While we're talking hip hop, what's your opinion (if you've got one) on Fat Lip? I've only heard "What's Up, Fat Lip?", which is a great track, but I'm downl... er, buying some other tracks right now.

I actually don't know much about Fat Lip... but I've been pretty busy these last couple months, so my musical exposure has suffered a bit. I have heard good and bad things, but that goes with most things.

Yeah, it looks like anyone who liked The Pharcyde doesn't like Fat Lip's solo stuff. I got a few songs, everything else on the album other than "What's Up, Fat Lip?" is pretty heavy, not what I was expecting.
