Clarence Thomas Blows Up Colorado Lawyer’s Argument for Kicking President Trump Off the State’s Ballot and Leaves Him Stumped

Democrats are humiliated. Way past due.
Clarence Thomas is a bought & paid for stooge for his billionaire buddies who own his sorry ass.

If the SC didn't think that there better then the rest of us his ass would have been gone a long time ago. His wife is a bigger pile of shit then he is for participating in Trump's coup attempt.

Ha ha. Love to see democrats rant with hateful rhetoric.

But when Thomas got the opportunity to question Murray, the lawyer’s argument completely fell apart. When Thomas asked for specific examples of states disqualifying national candidates, Murray could not provide one despite being given multiple opportunities. The stumped lawyer then finally admits he does not have one.

Maybe because in over 200 years, no President had ever sent a mob to overturn an election

I listened to about an hour and a half of the arguments. From what heard, Colorados decision will be overturned. Who knows. SCOTUS could have been playing devils advocate, and come back with an opposite decision, but, just from the arguments they were making, it seems that even the lefty’s, except sotomayor, were opposed to the Colorado decision.
Sotomayor is an idiot.

There's only one example of a senator that was elected by the state legislature, he chose to resign, he was not ousted by the senate. He should have stuck to his guns because he had been pardoned by president A. Johnson.

And none has yet.

She’s entitled to her opinion. Not everyone agrees.

I did, however, find part of their argument about how, if they allowed Colorado to keep trump off the ballot, that one states decision could disenfranchise the voters of other states…that was interesting.

Also, the justices even brought up section 5 of the 14th amendment, saying they felt that it was Congress’ job to enforce the article, something that I’ve been arguing for here for awhile.

And, they also brought up that if the decision to allow Colorado keep trump off the ballot, that other states would, in fact, file to keep Biden off the ballot. That different states could interpret insurrection in different ways because it has a broad definition, and that when all was said and done, it would just be a handful of states deciding the election.

Again, just going by their arguments, it doesn’t appear they agree with Colorado.

What it comes down to is Congress failed to disallow Trump as a future candidate after Jan 6 due to political partisanship

Now, some states are taking Jan 6 seriously

Trumps actions on Jan 6 are unprecedented

The fact that Clarence Thomas had to ask why nobody had been blocked before is unbelievable

After today's pitiful sad news conference, democrats are circling the wagons and figuring out the best way to remove Biden as soon as possible.
Sure, and JFK jr is going to come down and anoint the orange loser. Keep dreaming. :itsok:

Wrong Leftwhiner.

Wrong.

Congress did all it needs to do. It made “insurrection” a federal felony. If goobers want to disqualify a candidate whom you claim engaged in an ”insurrection,” then prosecute the alleged offender and secure a conviction.

Republicans sold out the country for partisan politics

It's over for the Colorado quislings. He made minced meat out of the attorney arguing our beloved gracious Trump can't be on the ballot. I hearby declare that anyone who disagrees with Thomas to shutdown the attorney in his futile attempt is a racist.

Once again, logic and the Constitution get in the way of the demafascsit attempt to undermine the will of the people.
