Biden's numbers are actually rising. Yes, that hurt to type. In the short term voters seem happy we haven't been nuked. Long term though, sitting on our hands will cost us a lot at the pump and grocery store. His numbers will reach new lows just in time for elections.

Considering there were no "good" candidates and have not been in many years the election is more of an autonomous reaction to the need to feel involved.
