I agree the restaurant owner was way out of line and I wish she had apologized once she sobered up. She was not threatening anyone's life though, and neither has anyone else. None of the things you mentioned require deadly force. That is what concerns me--this is ridiculous overreaction. It will only fuel more loud and headache causing dissent when you turn the left into some sort of phantom enemy. Just ignore them if you don't want to listen to them. I will bet you have not personally been shouted down, molested, or in any other way interfered with in your daily life by a howling mob of lefties.
