ugh, tequila has the most odd taste, fermented cactus juice

taco bell........weak stomach on the shitter

Have not had taco bell for ages, their simple burrito's were cheap and tasty
no stomach problems here
same with softshell taco

likely people get a bad batch of lettuce, usually the smoking gun or not cooked correctly
I had a BAD experience with tequila when I was 19. I was sick as a dog the next day. It was probably about 7 or 8 years before I dated to try it again. It was a brand new liquor store in town and the owner heard my story and said "Yep! Me and tequila had a disagreement when I was young but we kissed and made up!" 😆

Well, my #1 hard drink of choice is bourbon now that I'm in my 50's, and rum and tequila compete for the #2 spot. When I travel to Peru annually with my wife and kids, I often pick up some tequila at the Duty Free usually in Panama, Mexico City, or El Salvador. They have sooo many more brands to choose from than anywhere in the States.

You really don't know shit, do you? The company popularized it, yes, like most of our corporations try to take advantage of sales markets.

Short answer: No — Cinco de Mayo was not created by Corona beer. But Corona’s U.S. distributors in the 1980s–90s played a major role in turning it into a major American drinking holiday.

What’s historically true

Cinco de Mayo commemorates the 1862 Battle of Puebla, when Mexican forces defeated the French. The holiday existed long before any beer marketing and was celebrated in Mexican American communities—especially in California—by the 1940s–60s, tied to civil‑rights identity and Chicano cultural pride.

What Corona actually did

Where the myth does have a kernel of truth is in how the holiday became a huge U.S. commercial event:
  • In the late 1980s, Corona’s U.S. importers (Gambrinus Group and Barton Beers) launched a Cinco de Mayo–themed marketing campaign to boost sales after a damaging rumor hurt the brand.
  • The campaign aggressively tied Corona and other Mexican beers to Cinco de Mayo festivities.
  • This marketing push helped transform Cinco de Mayo into a major U.S. beer‑drinking holiday, now surpassing even the Super Bowl in beer sales.

What this means

  • Cinco de Mayo was not invented by Corona.
  • Corona did help popularize and commercialize it in the U.S., making the holiday widely associated with drinking Mexican beer.

Dude its not a real holiday. You're getting your crabby ass all chapped about a Bar Night. Do you spit in rage about Wurst Fest and Taco Tuesday too?
You are so ignorant about the holiday. Your mind would go if you understood the Day of the Dead.

And? You gave issues with hotties and parades? I used to go to a parade for Pachuko Claus.

Do you throw poo at St Patrick's parades?
