Chuck E. Cheese Arrested in Tallahassee

If you say so. I’d use it as a teaching lesson don’t trust anyone and just because they look like Chuck E Cheese or Indiana Jones, they are probably creeps in real life.

Teaching kids not to trust strangers is sensible.

Teaching them to laugh at the misfortune of others is not.

Teaching them to be weird stalkers... well, you get the idea.

You’d think the cop wouldn’t have done that in front of the kids…

The guy committed fraud, police don’t arrest good guys.

I get why the authorities didn't wait until the guy was no longer in his costume. #1 they probably didn't know if he was already in it and #2, waiting for him to no longer be in it only would've given him the ability to try to escape once he knew that he was about to be arrested.

God bless you always!!!

P.S. And at the end of the day, why should law enforcement officers be accommodating in any way at all when those who get arrested don't show any considerateness for other people either? In other words, if you don't want the cops in such a game, don't go showing them how to play it then!

Thank you, law enforcement has a job to do and they do what they need to, to make an arrest and not let a criminal go.

Nobody said he was a good guy.

We just questioned if it was sensible to confront him in front of the children while he was in full costume. They could have just as easily had his boss call him into the office, arrest him there, and take him out of the costume outside the view of the children.

Right and the guy would see the police officers come into the restaurant and not know what is going on? You take them down when you can.

Yes, Chuck E. Cheese was arrested and dragged off to the pokey...

I'm sure others are worried, everyone knows the guy is a rat...

Okay, they should have immediately taken the costume head off to identify him. Leaving it on for a photo op was just wrong.

Funny as hell, but wrong.

Seriously, they hired this guy:

to put on a costume and work around kids? That job should always be held by a female, preferablyl teenager or grandma.

Send in plainsclothed officers, talk to the manager, have him called into the office, make the arrest, get him out of the costume.

No risk to the children and no traumatizing them.
