OK, so, Donald Trump has been indicted for refusing to comply and keeping classified documents, even after the DOJ sent numerous requests to Trump to return those documents.

Christopher Wray has repeatedly not complied with Congress's subpoenas regarding requested documents.

The chairman claimed this comes after “several accommodations, months of persistent outreach by the Committee, and attempts to negotiate and work with the FBI in good faith.”

So, when will Christopher Wray be indicted for failing to turn over documents requested and subpoenaed by Congress that he continually refuses to comply with?

Congress should refer charges to the DOJ then

Didn't Trump hire Wray?

What are FD-1023s, and why is protecting them important?

As many of you know, the FD-1023 is the form our special agents use to record raw, unverified reporting from confidential human sources (CHSs). FD-1023s merely document that information; they do not reflect the conclusions of investigators based on a fuller context or understanding. Recording this information does not validate it, establish its credibility, or weigh it against other information known or developed by the FBI in our investigations.

Protecting this type of information from wider disclosure is crucial to our ability to recruit sources and ensure the safety of the source or others mentioned in the reporting. CHSs are critical to cases across all FBI programs — whether it’s violent crime, drug cartels, or terrorism. It would be difficult to effectively recruit these sources if we can’t assure them of their confidentiality. And without these sources, we would not be able to build the cases that are so important to keeping Americans safe.

It is an ongoing investigation...

They are investigating and in certain cases they are prosecuting... This means it is part of the judicial branch not congress..

“The Department’s mission to independently and impartially uphold the rule of law requires us to maintain the integrity of our investigations, prosecutions, and civil actions, and to avoid even a perception that our efforts are influenced by anything but the law and the facts.”

Anyway where in the constitution does it say Congress can investigate a case before a court?

Jordan is trying to interfere with an on going investigation...

He is trying to get the sources and other information that is not public.

He is supposed to be doing this in an interest to change the law... Could you tell us which law?

I will point out that Jim Jordan is a person of interest in another investigation involving the main suspect.

Anyway, Jim Jordan didn't think he should appear before congress when asked, so good for the goose, good for the gander.
