Islam is a clear and present danger, engaging in hourly terrorist acts. To a rational person, this is simple.
A rational person doesn't condemn a faith 1.6 billion people, that they do not understand. The mentality is what is at issue, and that form of evil is in nearly all faiths and all other human creations. You can't see the forest for the trees, and there's no possible way to help you to understand that either. Yours is a blind hatred, another form of evil.
There are several people who would normally be on the same side of this issue, for reasons of very strong faith in Christ in the case of one, a strong love of children in another, dispassionate logic in a third and near reactionary patriotism in a fourth.
They are not that far apart.
A group of kids want to sing the National Anthem. Another group interrupts them. The kids have a right to sing. The adults have a right to protest.
Do I support either? I support both. I have no love for Muslims as a whole, but I rather like kids and if these kids are assimilating into American culture, I am all for it. Getting these kids main streamed into society is what's best for us all.
BUT
To turn this into a brawl over how horribly a group of Christians treated a group on Muslims is pretty stupid.
These Christians interrupted some kids. Their Muslim counterparts flew planes into buildings. I, personally agree with Chris. The kids should have been allowed to sing. It was wrong for them to be treated that way. I believe most main stream Christians would agree.
BUT
What would go a long way here is for most main stream Muslims to condemn acts of terrorism in the name of their religion.
These children were inconvenienced. They weren't doused with acid or beheaded. Let's get real here.
