I agree with that statement,Dumb is throwing money at schools and not getting results. Wealth or savings does not matter as much as inefficient spending and allocation of resources.
Teacher safety, student safety, student aptitudes in Math, Science, Reading - these are all challenges yet the priorities are DEI, Restorative Justice, and Bloated Bureaucracies.
Come to think of it, if I were Trump, I wouldn’t cut funding. I would mandate redirecting of funding towards more security, more tutoring, less bureaucracy.
Why do you think vouchers are so attractive to low income parents in poor school districts? Because their local schools are failing them.

The US government and 17 states are suing Amazon in a landmark monopoly case reflecting years of allegations that the e-commerce giant abused its economic dominance and harmed fair competition.
I use them as I need them (don't need them much) but I can afford to use them. Nonetheless, this is not a question for one person but for the nation as a whole. You didn't answer the question
What should be done is correcting the problem. What Trump is doing is getting rid of the problem, no matter the consequences of the negatives that it will cause to our education system.Dumb is throwing money at schools and not getting results. Is the plumbing getting cut or are the owners of the house being forced to prioritize allocated funding? What should be done is correcting the problem. What Trump is doing is getting rid of the problem, no matter the consequences of the negatives that it will cause to our education system.
It is like getting rid of the plumbing in the house because there is a leak, and saying "live with no plumbing or live with whatever plumbing you personally can build"
wrong questionIs the plumbing getting cut or are the owners of the house being forced to prioritize allocated funding?

In China, 7th graders are immersed in our University level advanced mathematics.
In the USA, Democrats OUTLAWED math in public schools as "racist" and "divisive"
We are all born with genes that are different. We didn't choose them, they were given to us. That makes some of us more talented and with greater ability and some with no talent and no ability. In addition, the pocketbooks of our parents, as well as where we live and the living conditions there, give us more ability or less. We also have no control of that.
I 1,000% agree with you, on paper. In reality, it doesn't work. I've said many times on here that the best system to have on paper is Socialism. But in reality and as history shows, it doesn't work. Why? It relies on people being honest. We are all born with genes that are different. We didn't choose them, they were given to us. That makes some of us more talented and with greater ability and some with no talent and no ability. In addition, the pocketbooks of our parents, as well as where we live and the living conditions there, give us more ability or less. We also have no control of that.
Nonetheless, we are all Americans and as such (and to keep our nation together as ONE nation), we need to work together, which means the more talented and with more ability need to give more to make up for the people with less. Otherwise, we are NOT A NATION but a land with millions of individual islands with each island a nation on to itself.
If the latter is the case, each island should provide all services for themselves (education, energy, food, etc.)

Worms support Song birds as long as you make sure there is always an adequate supply of Worms .
Although , perhaps you are weirder than we think and prefer Worms .
And the US has been an Oligarchy for at least twenty years .
But good to see you waking up at last .

As per your analogy, I take it “plumbing” is supposed to be any and all schools and the Department of Education? Please direct me to where any and all Federal funding towards schools is going to get cut?wrong question
the house was just bought by the new owners and it is they that are getting rid of the plumbing because it is leaking and they do not want to allocate "any" of their funds to fix it.
I’m sure Trump and team have reviewed School funding from the Federal Government
