It was? Then why was the theme of the demonstration Get Off Our Necks? Did King have a problem with his neck being knelt on?

Uh, King was a guy who was shot by a racist (or the government) for asking for equal rights for blacks.

The fact that we have to ask Cops not to kneel on our necks 50 years later is kind of sad.

What's sadder is that George Floyd, a hero to many, is not judged by the content of his character, but by the color of his skin.

No, man, what's sad is he can be murdered in the street because of his skin color.
Thugs like Floyd are murdered in the street by the 100s in your home town. Shouldn't they all be heroes? That's sad.

Well, it would be nice if the cops did their jobs here... and cleared more than 17% of homicides.

But I'd just be happy with them not causing any more homicides through their incompetence.

Do you think I'm stupid enough not to realize you are trying to change the conversation? This gathering was about Floyd, not King. In fact he stated he's never been to Washington before. So why did he start going the year Floyd became a thing? Why was he wearing that tee shirt to a supposed King gathering?

This trial was unfairly conducted and should have never been held in that city. It should have been held far away from people who lived there and not yet formed an opinion, nor feared lowlifes threatening their safety and lives of themselves or their families. But because people had to face that fear, the only people willing to be jurors are those who knew how they were going to vote before the trial even started, because they knew that voting with the mob would not put themselves in any danger at all.

If Floyd was white we never would have heard about this story. At best it would have been reported locally. But the media wants to make money, so they rile people up causing protests and riots that last into months. The media loves it, and the puppets have no idea they are being played for fools.

you remember every t-shirt you've ever worn that's been handed out as a promotional thing.

Sorry, man, if they wanted to disqualify him, they should have asked more broad questions, or disqualified him when he admitted he supported BLM. They didn't. Maybe they were trying to create this kind of issue.

it'll fail, because no judge wants to be responsible for riots for a man who is obviously guilty.

He committed his crime against and in the name of the people of Minneapolis. There's nowhere else the trial should have been held.

Actually, the real problem was, everyone knew how they were going to vote because the defense didn't have a let to stand on. "Here's my client doing exactly what he's accused of on video". Not much of a defense.

If he were white, he wouldn't have been strangled for 9 minutes, because White people get treated with respect by the law.

It's simple. Thugs should not be jurors.

Sure it should have been held elsewhere. This trail was unconstitutional. When you have a bunch of wild savages that will act out (like they have in the past) if they don't get a verdict they favor, then there was no impartial jury because anybody willing to vote the right way would not accept jury duty. They've moved trials out of cities where the assault took place like OJ over race. You had no objection about that, did you?

If he were white, he wouldn't have been strangled for 9 minutes, because White people get treated with respect by the law.

Yet more whites and unarmed whites die at the hands of police officers than blacks every year. I'm all for a white jury for this guy.

They moved the OJ trail to the LA courthouse instead of the smaller one near Brentwood because the smaller one wouldn't have been able to hold the media. They didn't move it out of the city where he committed his crimes.

Again- he committed his crime against the people of Minneapolis and in the name of the people of Minneapolis, they should have been the ones to decide his fate.

Not sure why you want to change the subject. Can you point out a case where a white person was strangled for nine minutes, in front of the view of a whole crowd.

Now, I've said all along, cops kill too many Americans. 1000 a year compared to only a handful in other industrialized countries. Maybe we do need a WLM movement.

Not if it was impossible to get a fair trial which is exactly what happened. Again, the US Constitution GUARANTEES a non bias jury in all cases. This trial was completely unconstitutional, and even leftist Professor Alan Dershowitz agrees with me.

Nobody was strangled. He was breathing and talking until the dope finally took his life. If somebody is cutting off your air supply, that's impossible to do.

Yes, police do have to kill people. That's just part of the job just like being in the military in war time. However when you consider the US has over 800,000 police officers in this country, and we are a population of around 330 million people, those really aren't that bad of numbers.

Really? In all cases? So all those black people in the south who got convicted by all white juries, that shit didn't happen.

Dershashitz is a guy who was defending people he knew were murderers while visiting Lolita Island with Epstein.

he got a jury of his peers. The problem was, he was as guilty as a cat in a canary cage and they caught him in the act.

Nobody was strangled. He was breathing and talking until the dope finally took his life. If somebody is cutting off your air supply, that's impossible to do.
Screaming and begging for your life is not impossible... while you are being murdered.

The jury got this right.

Would you go to a doctor who kills 1 out of 800 patients? Would you fly an airline that crashes 1 out of 800 planes. No, it's not the job of cops to kill people. Other countries simply do not have this problem. They are not the enemy in a war. Passing a fake $20 is not a capitol offense.

Nothing honest about it given then theme for that march was Don't Kneel On Our Necks. It was a demonstration supporting criminal Floyd.

Really? Well, Washington isn't Minneaopolis... and Dr. King isn't Geo. Floyd.
cool...but none of that changed last the facts about his protect and what the juror lied about and continues to lie about
