As a general proposition, the more the Public sees of HRC the less they like her, and vice versa.
Trump's problem is a little bit different. The people who actually see Trump and hear what he says, in context, love what he says (if not him). Unfortunately, MOST PEOPLE rely on the lies and mischaracterizations of the MSM in reacting to what Trump says, and so there is a perception - based on these mischaracterizations - that Trump is a racist, bigot, homophobe, misogynist, troglodyte.
During the past couple weeks, HRC and her minions have lost control of the Narrative, and even though she will not be indicted for her security breach crimes, it has been firmly established that she intentionally broke all the rules in order to keep the public from having access to her activities as SoS, and also that she blatantly lied about her actions. So some of the valid and truthful criticisms are starting to gain traction with the 10% or so of the voting public who have not already solidified their support for one candidate or another (or for neither).
But there is a lot of time, and there will be a mountain of activities between now and November 1st. Today's polls mean somewhat more than Diddly-Squat, but not much more.
