Cato Institute: Immigrants Are a Net Positive

Typical leftoid nonsense, because they include legal immigrants lumped in with illegal aliens.

Illegal aliens are not immigrants, they are illegal aliens, and are a net drain.
So you refuse to read the OP as well

Legal immigrants area net positive by a lot

Illegal immigrants are less so but still a net positive.

They contribute trillions more than they use in services

Illegals are a net loss, by a lot.

Some 3 million have been deported, including self-deported, in the past 13 months, and the economy is growing great without them.

Illegals help bouy up the social security system.
They contribute through mandatory payroll deductions, but aren't eligible to collect from the system.
Often they use a phony, or someone elses SSN , which are the accounts given credit.

Undocumented immigrants in the United States contribute billions of dollars annually to Social Security and Medicare despite being ineligible to receive benefits from these programs. According to a July 2024 analysis by the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP), undocumented immigrants contributed an estimated $25.7 billion to Social Security and $6.4 billion to Medicare in 2022.

A law enforcement officer being attacked by a flagpole in excess of seven feet long.
I saw a visitor who proudly had his American flag on a pole standing idly there.
I saw a cop with his weapon acting pretty much angry.

First, the visitor was not proudly displaying his flag.
His flag was upside down in protest, and in violation of the flag code, and only to be displayed upside down as a sign of distress.

To the tune of over 4.6 trillion dollars

With illegals net positive 1.7 trillion

And both the legal and illegal commit crimes at a far lower rate than citizens

Cato is NOT. “Far left” org

They are a conservative think tank

Doesn't matter.

They're going.

It's not a net positive to the victims of illegal alien crime. The link is just for Minnesota.

You are not very observant.
Look at his legs. His left leg is straight, while his right leg is bent at the knee, and his foot off the ground.
This indicates he's propelling himself forward.
He also only had his left hand on the flagpole, someone else is holding the other end, which precludes him just standing there.

15th post
Based on TIN (taxpayer ID numbers) held by people ineligible to get a SSN (ex: illegals). They paid nearly $100 billion in federal taxes, including SS and medicare.

None of that is true

Hmmm….but what about that pesky truth Humberto? May I ask…what part of that filty shithole to our south do your roots lie?

Hmmm…how does one with an effective tax rate of -15% yield a return for real Americans?
If one deposits $1 into the SS fund but draws out $3 on the other end aren’t they a net loss?
