Many years ago I got this thing in a cereal box about an inch or so long. It was a sticky oval thing covered in ribs and it was just some naturally sticky rubber that did not leave any residue but if you threw it on a wall or door or any clean flat vertical surface, it stuck there like a bug then it began coming lose but instead of falling off, its shape was like a football so that as the stuck came loose, it would roll over end to end and slowly re-stick to some other part, thus taking maybe a minute to move down the wall a foot or so. It would take a couple minutes to wobble back down to the floor.

I had 1-2 cats at the time and this thing just drove them nuts. They would hone in on this crazy thing on the wall and just glare at it, running over trying to get at it just waiting for it to come down within their reach. I don't know what that stuff was but it was almost as much fun as a red dot finder.

Almost as much fun as back when the gas company and others actually came to the house. There was nothing better than banging on the cellar door then yell: "Gas Man!" to see all of the animals run to the basement door to see who it was with big black eyes!

I can honestly say that my cats were exceptions. When they f'ed up, they may not have reported it to me, but they knew I'd discover it, and they knew they were in trouble too and would likely pay dearly too, especially if they didn't come clean.

I can brag that I'm one of the few people around who could let my cats outside for hours and when I opened the window to call them back in, they would show up in seconds or minutes.

No matter what they were into a half block away--- hunting a mouse or carousing for a girlfriend, when they heard me call, they knew they had to leave.

Looks like a cat with far too much time in the house getting bored. Could probably stand to be kicked out into the snow for about a week.

He has talent though....;)
