• What an ass! But she holds the key to all the cat food. Or,

I've seen cats do that where they will strike another cat (or you!) then act like their paw just acted on its own to their shock and disbelief with a mind of its own that somehow the cat was shocked at trying to get control of.

If you watch wild lions and tigers in Africa, these are all basic traits that all felines carry, a bit of craziness and silliness, just that in the wild, it is shown more often by the young while the adults are full time just trying to stay alive.

Gee, there must be a whole lot of cats out there just this side of comfortable right now.

As well they should be. Just ask any cat.

I suppose this might be a bad time to point out the real difference between cats and dogs.

The real difference is that if you are juggling 115 different jobs all at the same time and get the tiniest detail right about even just one of them, your dog will be right there to support you. You are the guy. A true hero. 24/7/365. No one gets it done like you. Loyal to the grave, buddies to the end.

Whereas, if you are juggling 115 difficult jobs all at the same time and a single one of them in even the tiniest way affects your cat, another cat your cat knows or might affect him even years down the road, your cat will be right there making sure that not only are you on top of it, but if you screw it up any way somehow, there will be absolute hell for you to pay for 7 generations.
