I don't know why some people are surprised about stuff like this. Democrats had to know there would be some kind of reaction to all the new gun restrictions that were put in place subsequent to the Brady Bill. San Francisco voted to ban all handguns within the city limits in 2005, it was struck down by the California Supreme Court. But that was obviously a test case, Democrats wanted to see how much they could get away with, how far they could push it. And liberals wonder why so many people believe that they want to destroy the Second Amendment. I can think of no other issue that has greater potential to rip this country apart.

There is only one way to deal with guns and that is an outright ban. Anything else is just a PR stunt. Until you change the Constitution, that is not going to happen and you are not going to change the Constitution.

You can live in a free country or you can have the illusion of safety. You can't have both. Make a choice.

Oh that's easy... mandatory registration of all gun-owners just like cars. Fingerprinted traceable bullets. 10 day waiting period. No sales of guns at swap-meets, gun shows or on penny-saver ads.
