Of course we all pretty much know the answer to this already but, somehow, democrats ignore the truth and the facts. They are fact deniers. Facts are stubborn things.

  • Of the 20 cities with the highest homicide rates in the country, 12 are located in red states, but only one currently has a Republican mayor.
  • And while Shreveport, La, currently has a Republican mayor, a Republican has run the city only 11 of the past 152 years.
  • It’s been 50 years since Birmingham, Alabama, last had a Republican mayor.
  • The last time there was a Republican mayor in St. Louis, Mo., was 1949.
  • Atlanta hasn’t had a Republican mayor since 1879; New Orleans, hasn’t seen one since 1872.
  • In Indianapolis, the homicide rate has been elevated ever since Democrats gained control of the mayorship in 2017. From 2010 through 2016, the annual number of homicides in the city averaged around 120. Since then, it’s averaged 201.
  • The Republican mayor of Dallas, Eric Johnson, ran twice as a Democrat and switched to the GOP less than two years ago.

States set the gun rules, courts and prisons
Very few major cities would want a Republican as mayor
Yes, we know that for some unfathonable reason, democrats like crime, and criminals like democrat cities. By the way, most judges in the cities are elected by their democrat constituents and their mayors reflect the police policies they want.

Cities don't have their own gun laws? Seriously? I do believe I can walk around out here in the country with a gun while I could not do so in Richmond. Heck, I could even go over to a neighbor's shooting range and pop off a few rounds outside while again I could not do so in Richmond. As for wanting a Republican mayor, how are democrat mayors working out re gun violence?

So why isn’t Trump sending NG troops to red state cities??

Remember this and repeat it over and over, "crime is generally a social issue".

You are going to have people with mental health issues and other contributors, but it is mainly a social issue often exacerbated by poverty etc.

Quick solutions never solve the problem long term and they are excessively expensive. Prohibitively so most of the time.

St. Louis, New Orleans, Houston, Atlanta would be some following trump's criteria.

It appears that Trump is trying to restore law and order in the largest American cities and the nation's capital.
Perhaps, Houston and Atlanta are on the list. Would you support the NG being sent to Houston and Atlanta this fall?

I wouldn’t “like” troops sent to any

I’m asking why Trump is only sending troops to only cities in blue states

Is reading really that hard for you?
You are lying again.

What city in a blue state has Trump sent troops to?

You don't want less violence in DC and Chicago?

DC is the nation's capital. Chicago has an incredible level of gang related violence. That's why.

Houston and Atlanta are both multiples larger than Baltimore. but it won't happen. This is about power, not crime.
