Over there
  • •The common notion that extreme poverty is the “natural” condition of humanity and only declined with the rise of capitalism rests on income data that do not adequately capture access to essential goods.

  • Data on real wages suggests that, historically, extreme poverty was uncommon and arose primarily during periods of severe social and economic dislocation, particularly under colonialism.

  • The rise of capitalism from the long 16th century onward is associated with a decline in wages to below subsistence, a deterioration in human stature, and an upturn in premature mortality.

  • In parts of South Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America, wages and/or height have still not recovered.

  • Where progress has occurred, significant improvements in human welfare began only around the 20th century. These gains coincide with the rise of anti-colonial and socialist political movements.

What do you mean?! Is it, then, that the communists are RIGHT? Lenin and the USSR - planetary Good?

It means "the evil white man". The "study" suggests there have been data on economic growth under the rule of indians and cannibals. It suggests that at some point capitalism has been introduced to wealthy societies which in the process declined. It suggests there was no such thing as capitalism and all was fine until the white man came.

Let´s ascertain what you need to escape extreme poverty according to the study: "defined as the inability to access essential goods"
For a person it means a plate of noodles/rice each day. More is not really essential.

Sprouts of capitalism occurred during the decadence of Ming Dynasty China. Confusing various types of communism: Korean, even before the founding of the Korean State, juridical communism: that begs differentiation twixt Soviet and Chinese communism, etc. The coming de-dollarization should likely serve to strip the cheap phasod from the term "economic growth."

What was the poverty rate in China under communism?
What is the poverty rate in China under capitalism?
china has never been communist and isnt even close to being capitalist,,

its more like a free range chicken farm where the chickens do all the work and the farmer comes in and collects all the profits of that work,

Communism/socialism may provide for one's needs, but capitalism provides for one's wants as well. ;)
Quite true!
But with the world's growing population, the 'wants' needs to be modified downwards. Even America lacks the wealth to fulfill 330 million people's wants.

The difference is that China is fulfilling the wants of hundreds of millions of it's people to the best of it's ability, while America is still holding to the opposite course.

Hence, the breakdown of society is being seen in the streets, by the oppressed.

I think that if Biden won't give up on the corrupt system of government graft, all his efforts will fail to reach the hands of those who are going to cause the trouble for the system of greedy capitalism.

why would biden give up on a system thats made his family so much money??

You're describing the cause of America's societal breakdown that could be in process and unstoppable.

At least be cognizant of the enemy you've assigned, working toward a different concept of capitalism!

Hundreds of millions of the chickens are being given a better life in China. And Russia is not against adopting the same solutions.

That's called "collectivism". :auiqs.jpg:

He wouldn't! That's what I said.

He will not make a clean break from the American way of huge income inequality, for your reason as well as the American people would never accept it.

So Biden is doomed to failure, as always a halfhearted attempt to change is doomed.

Successful capitalism has certain requirements. Planning, hard work, sacrifice, delayed gratification, and personal responsibility, which explains the disparity between the rich and the not-so-rich.

It's good that you're trying to say something, but it's unfortunate that it comes out unintelligible.

Edit your typos and practice what you must have learned on forming sentences correctly.

But first demonstrate your rage if you must.

We're past knowing that America's brand of capitalism has failed!

Now it's time to acknowledge it, and then start to talk about how and why the mistakes were made and why society is being threatened by the people that have been downtrodden.

Unfortunately, it means facing the racism problem head-on before anything else can be addressed.
