Note that while 80% of the Canadian population is fully vaccinated, meaning they've had at least 2 shots, that means that 29.6 million Canadians have received at least 2 doses of the vaccine, for a total of 59.2 million doses. Given that many of us have had up to 5 doses, let's round that up to 60 million, just to keep things simple.

There have been 1200 claims to the vaccine program, for harm done by covid vaccines, of which 50 have been approved, which means that the vaccine has done harm in 1 in every 11.92 million doses administered. Even if all 1200 claims had been approved, that's one person injured for every 50,000 doses.

Put another way, if 50,000 people get covid, 550 will die. another 7000 will have long term covid effects and/or be left with "pre-existing conditions". Whether those effects are permanent is still not known. Then there are the costs of testing and treating the covid. What's worse is that those most affected by the vaccine, are likely have adverse impacts to the actual disease itself.

You're so worried you might be that 1 person in 50,000 impacted by the vaccine, that you're willing to risk being one of the 7,550 who are permanently impacted by covid over the risk of being the one person affected by the vaccine. Your best odds are to take the vaccine.
