Canada and Mexico come to the Table: Two Countries Concede on Tariffs

No, Trump didn't do anything of the kind. He lied to the banks and to the investors to do it, which is why banks stopped lending to him.

If Trump were merely exploiting banking laws, others would have picked up on it and would have used his methods as well, or the laws would have been changed.

Trump lost over $1 billion in the 1980's, but his father bailed him out. By the 1990's, Fred's dementia was getting worse, and he was no longer able to help his son, and that's when the bankruptcies began.

I've been following Trump's career since the 1970's and I fail to understand why he didn't end up in jail in the 1990's, with the shit he was pulling then. Then, after 2002, he started selling high prices condos to Russians looking to launder money in the New York Real Estate market. Suddenly Trump was paying cash for everything.

But hey, YOU think Trump is a rich successful businessman, because he played one on TV. The Apprentice was a TV show!!!

You make stuff up and talk yourself into believing it. It’s hilarious.

Funny, He has no problem getting funding.

Others used the law as He did.........you know, I think they call the finance law firms.

Before January 1st, Canada had tariffs on certain U.S. products, primarily in sectors protected under its supply management system. These included:
  • Dairy Products: Tariffs ranged from 200% to 300% on items like milk, cheese, and butter to protect Canadian dairy farmers.
  • Poultry and Eggs: Similar high tariffs were applied to chicken, turkey, and eggs.
  • Grain Products: Some grains faced tariffs, though these were generally lower than those on dairy and poultry.
These tariffs were part of Canada's long-standing trade policies to support domestic industries.

There was no tariff on Dairy Products within the agreed upon import limits. ONLY imports in excess of the agreed upon limits, were subject to Canadian tariffs. See also Chicken and eggs.

We have supply management in Canada, under which imports are subject to limits. This stabilizes both production and prices for our farmers. Canada First.

STOP BELIEVING ANYTHING TRUMP IS TELLING YOU BECAUSE HE'S LYING.

Yeah, he did have a LOT of trouble finding funding, and had to ask to reduce the amounts requested, as well as the time he took to find someone "loyal" enough to lend to him.

It does not matter how many times you repeat this lie, it remains a lie.

You cannot demonstrate this to be true.

Not seeing your point, (typically) He's already been in discussions with both.......:uhoh3:

What about your unhinged rant:

I really don't know what He sells or where its made. I've seen some things on TV but it's probably third party using His name.
Can He get these items made here?
Doesn't have a lot to do with tariff rates and free trade in a reciprocal fashion.

Well, hyudai's are built right up the road in Montgomery, Al and my hyundai I bought in 2014 was a piece of shit and that one was made in Al, the two I have bought that were made in Korea were the best I've had since the 60's.
