Can Someone Point Out How The Iran Situation is Any Better Than it was in June 2025?

Nope. But I foresee the downfall of the Islamic Republic in the near future.
Sending billions of dollars to the Islamic Republic isn’t exactly a great way to ensure its downfall.

I doubt the current rulers will see any of that $$.
Why?

I mean, just letting them export oil sends a ton of money to the current government given their oil industry is state controlled.

Who else do you think is going to access that money?

Similar to the charges of levying Aggressive war used at Nuremberg. Most scholars see those charges as being the weakest link in the whole case.

They should have stuck to the war crimes and the lying.
Launching a surprise attack during negotiations is still a war crime. Assassinating civilian leaders is also a war crime.

All the winning from Trump’s breaking his “No New Wars!!” Campaign promise:
  1. Strait of Hormuz open!!!! (Just like it was before)
  2. Americans paying more for food and gas (Trump doesn’t care about American finances and thinks his inflation is the best inflation ever!!)
  3. The War on Iran for Greater Israel added 50 bps to interest rates. Accordingly, we will be paying AN ADDITIONAL $450B on the $9T in debt maturing in the next 12 months, the vast majority of which will come due again in under 12 months. Winning!!
  4. We will pay Iran $300B to rebuild (guess what Israel’s share of that is)
  5. We will probably have to pay $1Trill to rebuild Israel
So

Much

Winning!

You act like all this has already happened.

Reality doesn't follow movie/TV show timelines.

Hey, you going to make shit up, go big or go home. $300 Trillion.
JD Vance said it.

They said this in March

Apparently they said it to Witkoff, so it’s already hearsay, but even then they said that’s what they had BEFORE we bombed them.

Unless you can prove otherwise, which seems unlikely.

Not really. It's a violation of the rules of war.

Currently the rules of war aren't being followed by anyone

We use the term war crime far too liberally.

So I shouldn’t listen to Trump? Good advice.

Do you have a reason for your beliefs or is it just wishful thinking?

Sorry champ, violating the rules of war is a serious crime. The real issue is enforcement. Who exactly could charge US officials for international war crimes? We'd have to lose a war, and I don't see that happening.

Vance said the Gulf Countries might chip in to help "rebuild" Iran.

Can't trust the Jew, huh? You clowns are a hoot.

To the tune of $300 billion. That’s a lot of money to send to the world’s biggest funder of terrorism.
Can't trust the Jew, huh? You clowns are a hoot.
Can’t trust the Trump administration and we can’t trust you since you lied about it.

As you may remember, that was when we first “obliterated” their nuke program.

As a deal has apparently been reached that will open the Strait of Hormuz but not result in any turnover of nuke material...

Can someone point out the material positive gains were made by our 100+ days of war that are markedly different than the situation we had last June?

Anyone?

YT consensus was the war was a failure and either the Jews and or USA will be back at with Iran in short order.

Time will proverbially tell.
