Can mass deportation work?

Mass deportation sounds good, however actually doing it could be a disaster.
The Democrat states are saying that they will not cooperate with ICE.
They will be branding ICE as modern-day slave catchers.
They will be making documentaries about protecting and hiding illegal aliens from ICE.
The Left-Wing virtue signaling will be epic.
It might become an albatross for the Republicans.
One thing that Trump and the Republicans could do is cut-off the federal funding for illegal aliens.
If the Democrat states want them, make them pay for them.
We tried for years to stop the alien invasion when it was just a trickle compared to the biden years

But you folks wouldnt listen

I have no idea why Trump is focusing on deportation before the border is secured.

How does this even make sense?

All they need is one crying child for a photo op and the media will gobble it up.

If need be, they will hire one to do it.
Is he focusing on deportation before the border is secured? Well, that depends. When he takes office, I'm expect he will re-enact the orders that made the border much more secure than it is now. Will the border be 100% secure? Of course not. However, mass deportation will act as a disincentive for those that want to illegally cross the border.

Let's examine this logically. There will be no livestock boxcars filled with crying grandmothers and children heading South. "Mass Deportations" will have several different components, none of which will be catastrophic to anyone.
  • Anyone known to be a violent felon will be identified, apprehended and sent back to his country of origin, whether they want him or not. If local law enforcement refuses to cooperate, they will be made to feel some pain, somehow.
  • Asylum-seekers will get hearings as quickly as possible. Most of them will have their claims denied, as they are not seeking asylum, but rather the chance of better economic prospects, to which we respond, "Go to the end of the line," and GTFO.
  • Trump will do his damnedest to have "government" benefits taken away from those who are in the country illegally. This would be SNAP benefits, subsidized or free housing, MEDICAID, tuition assistance, whatever. This will cause many people to "self-deport," as Senator Romney once pointed out.
  • The Department of Labor will enthusiastically enforce the laws in place that penalize employers who knowingly employ people who are not legally entitled to be in the country or work here. This would include criminal charges against the EMPLOYERS - serious, jail time charges.
  • All Federal agencies will be instructed to BOLO for anyone who seems out of place, to ascertain whether they are in the country legally.
  • The "Wall" will be completed and U.S. immigration laws will be enforced. For once.
  • Birthright citizenship will be ended, effective January 21, 2020. Sorry.
  • English will formally be declared the official language of the United States, with immediate effect.
The steps described above will take years to fully implement, and President Vance will continue them as long as necessary.

  • Anyone known to be a violent felon will be identified, apprehended and sent back to his country of origin, whether they want him or not. If local law enforcement refuses to cooperate, they will be made to feel some pain, somehow.
How is that different then now?

How is that different then now? Does this include DACAs?

Won't happen.

  • All Federal agencies will be instructed to BOLO for anyone who seems out of place, to ascertain whether they are in the country legally.
Anyone who seems out of place - 4th Amendment?

  • The "Wall" will be completed and U.S. immigration laws will be enforced. For once.
HAHAHAAHAH and Mexico will pay for it.

  • Birthright citizenship will be ended, effective January 21, 2020. Sorry.
What? Then how do you become a citizen?

AZ Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs says the border state, which voted for President-elect Donald Trump in the presidential election this month, will not be aiding the incoming administration with its "misguided" plan to launch a mass deportation operation.

Hobbs was asked by ABC News about whether the Trump administration will bring a reset on the border, and she responded by focusing on current partnerships with the federal government to secure the border.

"I am very hopeful that that partnership can continue, and that the incoming administration will listen to, not only my administration, but the experts here on the ground, the people that are doing the work about what is most needed, and what we can continue to do that will be most helpful in securing our border," she said.

The greedy corrupt Democratic Party is trying to build up their voter base of worthless welfare moochers

.

I'd say "Katie, you gonna FAFO", and it will be fun to watch.

President Trump and those around him that he has learned to trust, as well as all of us as a nation, have been through enough in the last four years that there are just no more lines that we will allow the losers to cross.

In time the border can be 90-95% secure

In some cases that means the wall

And in all cases more personnel to catch them before they disappear into the interior

It also means remain in mexico for the presumably fake asylum seekers

Many of whom will give up the ruse and just try to sneak in

DACA Caca

Outlaw the education of the children of immigration criminals, including anchor babies.
Families will leave if their children have no future here, including not even being able to read Spanish.

Arrest mayors and school superintendents who refuse to comply. The precedent was set when the Governor of Alabama would have been arrested by Federal Marshals if he hadn't backed down.

I agree that "birthright" citizenship should be ended. I put birthright in quotes because it depends on how birthright citizenship is defined. That said, it's not going to end January 21,2020. There is too much court precedent interpreting birthright citizenship as constitutional for it to be that easy to change.

It actually takes rights from illegal aliens parents. They have no choice over this issue. They might want to have their kids be citizens of their country.

Yes it can be done, it should be done and it ought to be done as quickly, brutally and thoroughly as possible. Those who step in the way should be treated as illegals themselves… losing their citizenship and their place in the US.

They might, but I doubt that is the case for most. Most want anchor babies.
Have you discussed this with illegal aliens?

Infallible Failures

Getting a legal right through illegal means is illogical. Even the Supreme Being can't create a contradiction, like a square circle, but the Supreme Court believes its pompous pronouncements are superior to all that.

Legally the Supreme Court's "pompous" pronouncements are superior to all when it comes to the interpretation of the constitution. The 9 justices have the last word until either the constitution is amended or until 9 justices of the supreme court come to a different ruling.

Nine Clowns with Gavels and Gowns

The "rule of law" is the rule of lawyers, especially the Just Us justices who can twist the meaning of this word-salad Constitution any way they feel can fool people into submitting to their dim-witted agendas.

What the supreme court actually does is take the dim witted agendas of the democrats and converts them to freedom loving laws.
