Can children be properly raised with the same two parents?

There are some kids that are not raised properly with the two original parents because both parents are deadbeats. There are some kids that are not raised properly with only one parent in the home. Then again, there are lots of kids that are raised properly with the two original parents or a single parent. It's "luck of the draw" when it comes to kids getting good or bad parents. If a kid is lucky he will have great parents. If not, it's a shame... The apple usually doesn't fall very far from the tree.
