Calling all boomers

Once again Eagle is laughing that means he doesn't have an answer to facts, and the facts are the US and UK supported Pol Pot.

Wrong, the US supported the Lon Nol regime that the Khmer Rouge overthrew. Once again, convoluted propaganda that makes absolutely no sense.

Now please explain the logic where we supported both sides in the Cambodian Civil War. This should be very entertaining.

Are you where you came from? where do your ancestors come from? Russians have socks older than your country and roots going back centuries same as i have in England.
Russians ain't got a damn thing older than American Indians. They go back since Before Christ.

It was not a civil war. It was one nation invading another country.

By your reasoning, the German Invasion of Poland in WWII was also a "Civil War", as that land once belonged to Germany.
Korea was divided at the 38th parallel in 1945
The war was started 5 years later

Germany’s borders were always changing

You supported the Khemer Rouge along with others after the Vietnam war ended, you never forgave the Vietnamese for defeating you and then liberating Cambodia so you supported PolPot that is just a fact, like you supported Al Qaeda in Syria just for political ends.

1993.

In 1990 it was still the Russian SFSR, part of the Soviet Union.

You really do just make up everything you say, don't you?
Wow….three years
You really got me there
So Russia has been a country shorter than I claimed

I remember two different strains of the antiwar movement. Early in the Days of the SDS, the emphasis was on getting our boys home. Later on, the radicals took over and actually SIDED with the Viet Kong. Hanoi Jaane represented the latter.

Wrong, oh so very very wrong.

The US was assisting the Cambodian Government in fighting against the Khmer Rouge. Here, let me say this once again.

The US was an ally of Prime Minister Lon Nol and his administration. The US provided him arms and intelligence in his fight against the Khmer Rouge, from 1970 to 1975.

The only brief time the US "supported" the Khmer Rouge was after the Cambodian-Vietnam Civil War in 1979. At that time, Vietnam installed the puppet government of the "People's Republic of Kampuchea" which was just a puppet government controlled by Vietnam.

You really seem to need a scorecard, because you just mix and match anything you want. Even events that are half a decade or more apart are all the same to you for some reason.

Well, it is not like things like facts are important to you very often.

But to be technical, as the Russian SFSR it actually was an "independent sovereign state". Not all that unlike how the British Commonwealth is. But as in reality Russia SFSR was the dominant force that ran the Soviet Union, not the other way around.

Former Yugoslavia... the list of failures just goes on and on.

Preppy Progressives

No matter what your flunky histwhorians make you believe, Marxism was adopted by the RichKid Reich as a way of tricking the hated working class into letting them run the show. Its secret appeal is absolute authority and the illusion of the inevitable end-game of history. Solely because of their Daddies' Money, they believe they are Born to Rule over the stinking masses.

This is undeniable if you dare to look at today's evidence from the HeirHead Harvard Hierarchy.

USSR folded

Russia has been around a few years
They are not doing well

Well they should have been proud of siding with the Vietnamese liberation forces they were on the right side of history as can be seen today.
