I fully endorse this idea. These people are a blight on society and contribute absolutely nothing except chaos and misery. Let the trash take itself out.

A Southern California mayor said he wants to eliminate his city's homeless population by "giving them all the fentanyl they want," a controversial comment he doubled down on by saying he supports a federal "purge" of homeless people.

Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris, a Republican, made the comments during a city council meeting on Feb. 25 when a resident questioned him about the city’s plan to address the homeless crisis by "enclosing" the homeless population in a single encampment in an abandoned golf course near a residential neighborhood.

"What I want to do is give them free fentanyl. That’s what I want to do," Parris responded.

"I want to give them all the fentanyl they want," he reiterated.

Well shit, I want to disagree with him but can't. :eusa_wall:

This politician just telegraphed how ignorant he is. He is as bad as all the dope addicts on this forum who don't understand it either - especially when they claim shit like, marijuana is not addictive.

"The world is a vampire
Sent to drain
Secret destroyers
Hold you up to the flames
And what do I get
For my pain?
Betrayed desires
And a piece of the game

Even though I know
I suppose I'll show
All my cool and cold
Like ol' Job

Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage
Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage
Someone will say, "What is lost can never be saved"
Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage . . "

Wasn't there a song about this?

There are some merits here that could be explored but I don't think giving them all the fentenol they want is the answer. In fact, I would go on the other side of the spectrum, such as enclosing them in just one big camp where they would not be able to leave and and others would not be allowed in. We could weed out the savable and confine the chronic homeless to the point they would be getting zero fentenol. or any other vices. And, when we found more homeless people, we would forcibly pick them up and drop them off and the lone ecampment, unless they were savable.

The guy should be removed. Perhaps creating a program that would reduce homelessness by refurbishing vacant buildings, providing skill training for jobs and addressing drug addiction would be a better solution. This guy sounds like a Republican.

You missed the message this implies.

That's absolutely insane.

Internment camps for junkies?

That's the solution?
What's next? A "Logans Run" type civilization ?
