Literacy is being able to read and write, and yes where progs are they are getting rid of literacy standards. Teaching what is true or not in the media isn't literacy. So why did you lie? Or are you that ignorant?Literacy is bad?

and think clearly.Literacy is being able to read and write
This is a fear-based claim without merit.and yes where progs are they are getting rid of literacy standards.
That's not what's being proposed.Teaching what is true or not in the media isn't literacy.
Fallacious; see above. So why did you lie? Or are you that ignorant?
and think clearly.
This is a fear-based claim without merit.
That's not what's being proposed.
What's being proposed is guidance in developing abilities to distinguish between more/less factual claims, and these skills can be used in a non-partisan fashion.
Your concern that they will not be so used is fear-based, and thus without merit.
Fallacious; see above.

2=2=4 is racist.Literacy means more than just being able to read and write.
There’s other kinds of literacy like financial literacy, which should also be taught in schools.
It’s telling that conservatives are afraid of people having media literacy, almost as if you know conservative media is based on dishonesty.
Maybe you could try being more coherent. Your first link says nothing about standards. Your next to distort reality and are quite dishonest onesided takes from knee jerk reactionaries.2=2=4 is racist.

The good curriculum improvements have nothing to do with racism; associating them with racism isn’t going to help students with math.www.wsj.com
Lowering and eliminating standards is racist to the core. It's done to keep blacks acting a fool. 100 years ago there were segregated black schools that graduated Ivy ready students. But you see Democrats have always been racist. Now they just run the plantation in different ways.
Too late.Maybe you could try being more coherent. Your first link says nothing about standards. Your next to distort reality and are quite dishonest onesided takes from knee jerk reactionaries.
The school is trying to teach media literacy. That’s not lowering standards, that’s raising them.
Cali is a well run state. When Dems are in charge, everything is pretty much perfect.
