I don’t even like electric cars but am considering a Tesla just because of Elon. If Trump wins and places him in a position where he can gut our government bloat, I will buy one.

No more idiotic than you loons that love them but won’t buy them because of Elon’s politics and buy a Prius instead. I wouldn’t buy a Prius simply because it would make me look like a lefty loon. I would be forced to cover it in anti-Democrat stickers just to save face. I would hate to think that people would be looking at me at a stop light thinking I was dumb enough to vote for Harris or Biden.

I don’t know many that are actually against electric cars. What use sensible folks are against is the Democrat’s mandate for electric cars and against combustion engines. There is a big difference.

Tesla is failing.
They're no longer the only game in town. They had a 10-year head start, and they squandered it. Everyone else now builds EVs and hybrids cheaper and better.
Democrats own the MSM. Ever sit in an airport waiting for your flight while CNN or MSNBC is on all the TVs? All they do is lie about Trump and Republicans 24 hours a day. The debate moderators give Democrats the questions ahead of time and only fact-check (incorrectly) Republicans. Hollywood stars align with Democrats even though they are way out of touch with middle class Americans. It's quite a machine Democrats have going for them. But, their supporters are completely misinformed.

The Left repeatedly demonstrates through its words and actions how much they despise the country and her citizens, even their own constituents. And yet some people still support them. Why do voters support people who demonstrate through their words and actions that they mean to do them harm?
There’s an old adage concerning an axe. “The forest was shrinking, but the trees kept voting for the axe because its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.”
Our current group of rulers (not leaders) on the Left doesn’t even bother to hide their intentions. Not only do they speak openly of their goals, they demonstrate them. When conservatives point out their words and their actions we’re called conspiracy theorists and we’re treated to another rash of “Republicans pounce” headlines.
Evidently making threats and carrying them out isn’t the problem. The problem is when people point out how this unending stream of threats, destructive policies and actions is poisoning our culture and our society.
They tell you they’re going to raise your taxes.

They tell you they’re supporting radical Islamists who are threatening to nuke Israel, Europe, and America.

They tell you that parents should not have influence over what their children are taught in school.
They show you they consider Catholics to be domestic terrorists by placing agents and informants in churches.
They pass laws prohibiting schools from informing parents of their children’s “gender transition”
They boast about forcing Americans into expensive, inefficient, dirty, and dangerous electric vehicles that most of us can’t afford and don’t want.
They do these things while claiming it’s for our own good. C.S. Lewis had an opinion on that:

How bad does it have to get? How badly must some people be made to suffer before they wake up?
Commentary:
Their vile and viscous methods of the Democrat Neo-Marxists are too sophisticated to be anything other than a coordinated effort of a secretive, domestic, evil-minded cabal within the highest intellectual levels of America’s leftists bent on consolidating world power. We know who they are. We know they indeed control today the essential offices of power in America. T they have no intention of giving it up. Donald seems just a play-toy to them at the moment, as do the victims of Helene. Their methods…? Anything it takes.
The Framers and Founders kept Democracy to only one part of the federal government. We undid that with the 17th Amendment. Now the "Our Democracy" fools want to make (s)electing the potus democratic. Then, the courts.
Presntly all in the image of a Marxist Socialist society.
Democracy is a poison because as my other comment implies, it's last act is raiding the treasury. Democracies always follow this path. The (s)elected powerful buy votes and the average voter is not very intelligent and half are less intelligent. We end up governed nay ruled by imbeciles empowered by people too dumb to know just how dumb they are.
