Well, let's see, just a hazy distant memory but I remember a Democrat in 2009 bailing this country out of a large mess left by his predecessor. Then I remember that Democrat along with his Democrat majority in the House and Senate passed an overhaul to the healthcare system that if I'm not mistaken enjoys greater popularity today then when it was first implemented. That's just two. I do remember another Democrat in the 90's raising taxes and balancing the budget but you probably don't want to go back that far.

Democrats have their issues. But they are better for this country. Republicans, well, they've proven they have nothing to offer except division pimping, conspiracy theories, and the same old, same old when it comes to economic policy. Tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy. Bloated defense budgets. Cut basic, vital programs for the less fortunate that make up miniscule amounts of the overall budget...because it feeds into the division pimping.
