Senate majority leader Thune is pushing a Lindsey Graham budget. Say what?

Oh, spending as usual. I wonder how much for Ukraine (through 2030!), and the corrupt USAID is in that bill.

Trump is going to need to shut it all down and veto any such budget if such a budget gets passed. He will need to calmly talk to the American people about why he is vetoing the spending.

No worries, the House Bill is in the driver's seat.

The Freedom Caucus won't approve anything irresponsible.

I particularly like the House stipulation that reduces the tax cut if spending cuts are not achieved.

I fully expect Ukraine aid is gonna be significantly reduced in the next budget.

Gotta love the cluelessness about the inevitable Chaos that most everybody saw coming when the GOP caved to Trump.

After ceding power of the purse, GOP lawmakers beg Trump team for funds

Republican senators are asking Cabinet secretaries and other Trump officials to let money flow back into their states.
Senators have in recent days made the case to Cabinet secretaries and other Trump officials to let money flow back into their states. They are trying to finagle exceptions to President Donald Trump’s sweeping executive orders or cuts made by billionaire Elon Musk’s U.S. DOGE Service that freeze hundreds of billions of dollars, including money for farmers and infrastructure projects. That push comes as the administration has also sought to fire a wide swath of federal employees — some of whom live in red states.
Even as many Republicans praise the ultimate goal of streamlining the federal government, some GOP senators spanning the ideological spectrum from Katie Boyd Britt (Alabama) to Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) have lobbied the Trump administration to reconsider its cuts or pauses to federal grants that support biomedical research and labs, or for programs supporting Native American tribes.

gop whine.webp

Funny thing is, the MAGA tribe loves it. Burn down the house

I hope the king continues to cut out their bullshit pork, regardless of party!

The SC GOP is corrupt AF.....The biggest back slapping good ole boy network in Dixie, even for a closet case.

I've always wondered whether he, too, benefitted from some of the 2020 election shenanigans.

He seemed pretty worried about whether he was gonna be re-elected back then and was whoring himself pretty hard on the mainstream idiot box channels like FOX there for a while

Oh look! Maybe Queen Lindsey (his SS name) days are numbered.

That said queen Linsey's PAC, well fattened by the MIC, will be hard to overcome.

Hopefully Trump backs Lynch.
