Building the Border Fence - A Public/Private Partnership

I think the wall will stop many of them! And if our government will increase salaries to border patrol - people from whole country will work and every piece of wall will be protected! Sad, that liberals will do everything to stop this project.

Do you really think a wall will keep out illegals?

All illegals? Nope, but would it prevent many? Absolutely.

Combine, the fence with other efforts, such as:
(1) eVerify, strict enforcement and swift penalties against employer.
(2) Denial of Medical, Free Educational and Public Assistance services for people in this country illegal.
(3) 1st offense deportation, 2nd offense 5 year incarceration.
(4) Strict enforcement and swift penalties against landlords.
(5) National ID cards and officer checking proof of citizenship during traffic stops.
(6) End birthright citizenship
(7) Etc.

Combine the fence with some of these solutions and more and the illegal immigration problem would be a thing of the past!

The Dims don't really want to solve the problem. When they attack the wall/fence, it's because they know it will work.

BTW, I like all your suggestions except the national ID card. I'm opposed to those on principle. Furthermore, drivers licenses have developed to the point where they are pretty close to being unforgeable.

ROFL did you use a napkin?

It discourages people from going into your yard, like kids who want to do mischief. Walls around gated communities definitely reduce the amount of crime that occurs in them. Developers wouldn't build them if they didn't work. What do they know that liberals are too stupid to figure out?

There is nothing in your yard that compares to the opportunities America has. Also, trespassers into privately owned spaces are often quickly apprehended while illegals don't face such enforcement.

Huh? What makes you think the left do not employ illegals? Are you trying to say the left are bigoted against the illegals?

No, I'm saying that employers are a major player in the reelection funding for Sheriff Joe.
Based on?

It really is not Arpaio job to go find employers and do anything to them. The law is not structured in that manner. Once it is (if that ever happens) then the cops might be able to actually start enforcing law against employers as well.

Hiring undocumented workers isn't illegal?
Not illegal by state or did you miss the court case that took AZ to task for trying to enforce immigration laws?

It is a federal matter that must be investigated and the fines administered by a federal authority.

So only federal cops can bust illegal aliens?
For the most part that is true. Local police may apprehend them but must turn them over to ICE - federal enforcement - and even that cannot be direct enforcement. IOW, local police cannot apprehend and detain people based on the suspicion that they are illegal. That was, essentially, the entire crux of the case against AZ.

So the answer is NO.

Fines for employers. One million dollars and 10 years for each illegal.
